Seeing as I have broken internet law, I will now avoid viewing porn for 1 hour as punishment.

Punishment is one thing.

Martyring yourself is completely unnecessary.

LOL, I love the subtle sarcasm..

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

Subtle as a heart attack.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Why isn't anyone defending the rights of the poor fan base? Those brave people keep coming to the games, watching players with extravagant wages not even trying to give all they got on court. Moreover, they are expected to cheer for them!

Respect for the fans!

My suggestion is to give a financial malus to all teams that don't play crunch time at least 7 times in the regular season, of which 5 at the home court.

Imagine you were watching that specific game...

I would like to complain for a moment about something that's occurring at an alarming rate in Buzzerbeater, and needs to be stopped immediately.

I speak, of course, of the practice of ignoring Mutual TIE Requests. If someone is so interested in your teams well being that he takes the time to send you a request to Mutual TIE, then you should have the decency to respond. It is morally and ethically unsound to not respond (leaving the offerer in a lurch on how to proceed) and then use this information to better prepare your team for a likely TIE.

Shocking, indeed. I didn't know such practice exists and it is no good to hear there is. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. A ban for those players would be adequate.

But we also need to talk about those despicable teams who fail to offer TIE requests as well. In my humble opinion it shows a definite lack of sportsmanship not to offer such a request, if the responsible manager can see that he is going to lose anyway in a normal/normal constellation. It would be but fair to offer TIE request to the superior team.

Unfortunately we hardly see that kind of noblesse.

My opinion on mutal TIE requests? Well, no one forced you to send them a mutal TIE request, and no one is forcing you to still play TIE. A mutal TIE is just good strategy, and I don't think the BBs need to enforce it. How about "Lets both play Run n' gun to get more points?" the BBs wouldn't step in there, would they? Just my 2 cents

That's a great idea! Already placed in suggestions forum? With an extra feature of mutual 2-3 zone for gaining extra fans if possible please.

tbh, if one requests a TIE, that means you are willing to loose.. otherwise you wouldnt suggest it, since you're anyhow in a bad situation (e.g. low enth.).

You can also see it the other way around, go tell him, that you ll play TIE for sure and hope he ll play TIE too and then play normal (which would be rather gay.. but hey, if he doesnt respond..) and go for the free win, he can't complain, since there wasn't an agreement.

simple

I think after this thread, Stogey23 deserves some "funniest mofo on BB" award or something.

Re-reading the thread, it's never going to get old seeing people fall for this joke!
