Or are there three $6,000 18 year old HoFers that I will now nab with my first, second and third picks?
The reality is the draft has been so pathetic for several seasons that most teams have fairly much given up investing unless they get a fairly early pick.

It still pisses me off. I took $20,000 a week for two seasons ($560,000) and have tanked an entire season so I can finally get a good draft pick and there is exactly NONE that are good in the entire draft. I have scouted every single 18 year old of any height and there are NONE of skills 3 Ball of higher with 5 ball potential. I am firmly committed to training guards and there aren't even any guards with 4 ball potential. Are you kidding? I even then was so angry I scouted every single 19 year old 6'7" or less and there is NONE with 4 or 5 ball skill with 4 or 5 ball potential. NONE!
I don't mind sharing this pathetic information as I have the 1st pick wrapped up and if there was someone I would have him.
So the BEST player in the draft is either a 5 ball skill A+ and 3 ball potential. Could be a $5,000 star street value less than $10,000.
or
A 4 ball skill A- with 4 ball potential. Could be a $3,500 perennial allstar street value less than $10,000.
When this is the BEST players in the entire draft it is pathetic.

I think it is random but too random. Every season we read about some guy in division V somewhere who drafted three million dollar $6,000 18 year old superstars and will get a free ride to division III as a result. Meanwhile teams with the first pick in different leagues even after extensive scouting get guys worth $10,000.
I think it is the same as always it is just random patterns always look odd when looked at in detail.

Wow the first one is amazing and brilliant and makes me very sad. There is a player like the second one in this season's ABBL draft but I just don't want that. I want to draft a player who one day can be a starter in this league and that means a salary of $60,000-$100,000 and three ball potential just wont do it. You can train a very nice player with three balls but just be aware that after investing several seasons into him it will come to a grinding halt when he caps.

Yeah I know, fortunately for me since i will just be in IV league next season I dont need a 60k player. I just need a good 20-30k player which i think i can get from three balls. I'm hoping i will get both of those players because i want to train at least one of my rookies this upcoming season so if i get both of them i will probably sell the better one to get some more star power on my team and train the 5/3 guy.

If you plan to do it then list him right away. There is a feeding frenzy in the first week as serious trainers look for the best rookies and a 5/5 is the best so a million dollars may be heading your way as long as he has a good skill mix.
