Yes that is true you can't penalise that, but unlike tanking it requires some skills. Those managers (and I'm one of them) are trying to win games while not being at the salary floor. Unlike tanking this approach also takes significantly longer to accumulate cash via weekly profit.

That said I doubt that if they killed tanking by killing the profits you can make anybody would complain. In the past topics about tanking were a regular feature in this game, now I think tanking is just not seen as the main problem.

re:cause 2: I'm not recommending to change the skill contributions to salary, just to make everybody more expensive. Basically, remove the salary deflation thing completely.

I understand, but I'd go even further. A 160 TSP player cannot cost 140k less than other players in the game with a -50 TSP gap. The kind of impact and versatility that player has should be paid for. The highest paid players have always been SF and PF since I joined. In real life terms, is like saying that it's ok if LeBron James has a weekly salary lower than DeAndre Jordan (and I like DeAndre as a player).

Why wouldn't you touch the skill contributions? It could be that finally they also remove free IS for guards.This can be done gradually if you have a clear goal in mind.

maybe you could explain how the salary formula works for people, so they can understand the kind of changes you are talking about.

I think, that every good manager must see them at least once, and understand, how it works. So, basically, he don't need to explain it - it have been done too many times.

So can anyone explain to me why im paying a rookie 18 year old more than my average salary? He should be below my average salary not above it?' Why am I paying 4k for a 6th man potential while sitting on the bench for this season & next season untill I sell my starter when he caps off at 26 next season? Is his salary going to go down after this season? I'm still below salary floor but I still find it confusing. When he passes my average for salary. My average is 3,95311111 right now I shouldn't have a bench player over that line. Any help? Here is his Id (37021078)

On BB, only the skills will decide of the salary of a player.

What about age?

If nothing else... Older players will lose many skill points during season... So their salary should be lower... While we can say opposite for younger players. :p

So youre saying Multiskilled players are better than positional player skill set? IF this the case I always choose a multiskill small foward. Rest of my team is positional based.

Nope, only skills determine salary. Bare in mind that includes the levels that exist between visible skill levels, so age has an impact when players skills start to decrease.
