I totally disagree, I had the same problem with a 95k$ salary backup. Or maybe is that still not enough for a bench player ?

If my starters were let's say 6 stamina, then I would have no problem with exhaustion cause they would be replaced often enough to play around 35-40min and then be available for the last minutes of the game !
Right now I've got 9 stamina and +/- 18xp starters and I end up losing every 4th qt of the games where exhaustion has been implemented. How is it understandable ?

About the monsters + scrubs composition you describe, I hope you're not talking about my team. I trained many of my starters and I've got 2 real good backups and 2 decent ones, I don't know what more I should have done in this time span. Or maybe we should stop training 250k$ salary players ?

And again it's not just about me, but about the bad side effects of this change, which I can talk about cause I'm facing one of them.
BB-Justin apparently understood our issues and will try to solve some of them next season, but there's still a season going on and I've got no clue how to face it right now.

.e. to have a more balanced roster.

which is a great way to go for BB in the long term (enough with teams made only by monsters and scrubs).

I disagree with this. If you look at the NBA and current professional basketball it is largely dominated by stars. The problem with short rosters was that you can play only 5 or 6 star players for 40 plus minutes which doesn't happen in real life basketball very often. On top of that it seemed to be by far the strongest strategy.

A balanced roster shouldn't beat a star powered team just because the star got left in too long (even with a backup) and got "exhausted". They should beat them from taking advantage of the minutes where the poor backup was in.

It seems to me that a lot of the problems with both exhaustion and other things in BB come down to the fact that the amount of minutes our players play is very important (GS, exhaustion, training), yet these minutes are very hard for us to manage, especially with high stamina players.

And I will add that the problem seems to be more of the high stamina players than poor backups. I ran a 200k player at backup for a 290k and a 240k at the same time. Both starters had high stamina. The backup (200k player) only played 5 minutes total through 3 quarters. If the game hadn't ended in a blowout than both the starters would have likely played 44+ min which is not optimal.

Check out the NBA finals from last season. Both teams played 8 players (Bucks sometimes really only went with 7) and the backups were definitely much worse in terms of talent than the starters (Pat Connaughton vs Giannis). However, the coach can be much smarter in terms of managing minutes than a BB coach.

maybe. maybe training 28-29 year olds should also be avoided. maybe the sweet spot for training should be around 100k-150k and going for one 150k and one 100k instead of one single 250k player should be the right way.

So the future of BB would be to stop training players to their full potential or even trying to push the limits ? And NT players would only be trained by farms ?
Damn that would clearly not be an improvement for this game.
