He is right there for a pop in IS, and i have 4 other guard trainees that i will get his js up 2-4 levels and JR up 1-2 (depending on where his sublevel is right now) levels. I have also toyed with the idea of more one on one training to get mainly the driving up a little higher. He's killing it for my team this season.

I am really enjoying training this well balanced gem of a rookie i got in my first draft. I like well balanced players and this guy fits the bill perfectly , he can play in both small forward and point guard positions very well and i would have no trouble slotting him in as a shooting guard if i really had to. I viualise my prospect turning out to be a jason kidd style explosive point guard who shoots exceptionalally from downtown.

Do the more experienced managers think that i am doing the right thing here or should i be utilising him in a different way? i would really like feedback here , thank you.

Absolutely correct , which is why i have been leaning towards playing him as a point guard the last month or so , and i prefer to play run and gun if im experimenting in matches , thus not exposing his abysmal inside shooting. He has really been on fire the last few games though , albeit against some poor opposition , but a few games in the cup against decent d4 opposition , and in my last cup game against a much better team from the division above where i taught them a lesson in basketball.

I am thinking of training all of the below of PF's together they are all well balanced and should be very good PF when they reach 23-24 year range.

What are your thoughts?

depends on your plans for him. Some additional JS would be nice, but if you're training on a single position, it might be better to wait a little further. He's far from finished though, so you can work on almost any (outside) skill and improve him. But you could determine what to train if you know which position he's supposed to play in the future.

For a PG, train his OD and Passing. For a SG, train his OD and JR. And for a Combo Guard, train his OD, Passing and JR about evenly (perhaps a little more OD)
