TPE is a joke especially for the all around players. Maybe it worked ok 4-5 seasons ago where everyone was trying to boost the primary skills of the players, but almost none cared about the 2ndaries. Now the fact is that PA is becoming a primary skill for every position, for example.

So the best way to get an idea whats the worth of your players, is the market search...

my 45k sg's tpe jumps around like crazy - 2 weeks ago it said 800 k-1.2 mil , 1 week ago 2.5 mil to 3 mil , this week 1.5 mil to 1.8 mil .

the tpe is very much a one skill only estimater , and fairly inaccurate the more balanced and high skilled your players are

TPE is transfer price estimate. It is the line that is displayed on every players page that says something like:

Transfer Price Estimate: There have been 24 recent transfers of 27-28 year old centers with tremendous inside defense and any potential. Of these, the ones with skills most similar to Ola Persson have been selling for around $ 1 250 000 to $ 1 600 000.

or

Transfer Price Estimate: Very few players like Gabriel Cornaggia have been transferred recently.

They are used to provide an estimate of how much the player is worth by comparing it to similar sales that have been made recently. However, it can be widely inaccurate, especially for really good players and players with good secondaries.

I read this thread and i found it very interesting.so i would like to hear your opinions on how i should train my C.

Mohamed Lahmam(13377672)

Weekly salary: $ 17 266-according to the salary calculator,he should have a salary of around 42k now.

DMI: 299500
Age: 19
Height: 7'5" / 226 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: strong

Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: atrocious
Driving: atrocious Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: tremendous Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: inept

Experience: pitiful

i know that he has terrible secondary skills, but i couldn't afford a better guy that has good inside skills last year when i bought him.
i've been rotating IS,ID and REB(changing the training when one skill pops) so far.
he plays as my center and i don't need him playing PF because i have another good player playing there.
i have a level 4 trainer.
if you want to know anything else, just ask.

thanks.

Hey,
Pity about the secondary skills, but the main skills are coming along nicely.
I would train rebounding up to tremendous.
Then train inside defence up to tremendous.
Then I would train Jump Shot up to Prominent.

Then see what his salary is like.
If you can't afford a higher salary it might be worth training up the secondary skills just a little bit so that they are all on inept rather than atrocious. It would take a long time but if you can't afford the salary the only other thing you can do is sell the player. Up to you.

Hey,
Nice player. I would train ID, IS and Rebounding up to Sensational.
Then, depending on whether you can afford the salary going up any higher, if might be a good idea to give him some jump shot training and some one on one training.
Goodluck.
