I know how people get bored with the game. I have known someone who tried to cheat because they have a really short attention span. Once they made a bad decision on bidding on a player who they didn't want they tried to cheat. Personally I really like this game and if it were so easy it would make me like it less. I love the strategy and the way the games seem real. If americans didn't give up so easily we would have a bigger amount of users

Ad1. I do not agree. BB it is hard game. That is why so attractive, even for players, who aren't basketball/ NBA fans ( like me ;) ) In Poland we saying : Easy come easy go.

You started out in D III and moved up two levels to D I. IF I move up two levels, I'll be in DIII where you began. What is fair and equitable about that?

It's not just BuzzerBeater...I got friends that got through jobs, activities, hobbies, women etc. all the time and others that are focused on the long haul. It's just different personalities...and you're not going to keep some peoples attention, because frankly nothing does.

I tend to use that phrase when taking a dump... (im taking my talents to south beach)

As for the GLB reference....there is some of that going on in BB. This is why it is so hard to compete when you move up divisions. Those with influence are in the top leagues and tend to get their way when any ideas come up that would help those in lower leagues or those moving up to be competitive in divisions 1 and 2.

*Note - this is not meant to tick anyone off just an observation made by myself. My team has not been effected too terribly much by this at all as even when I promoted to D3 the first time I didn't demote because of any reason other than my ineffectiveness managing my team.

The past several days has seemed to bring a pretty significant surge in members, both in the US and abroad. Has anyone else noticed this? Is/was there a big marketing initiative that has managed to bring in more users?

Then why didn't we see the jump start 2-3 weeks ago?

That would explain the boost in US users, but not in the rest of the world. Coco's explanation of delayed reaction works, too, but the surge seems too sudden for that. I'm assuming that there's been an ad campaign *somewhere*, I just don't know where.
