Some of our honorable members should be prescribed a daily injection of relaxed attitude and antiseriousness but this we already knew, right ? ;)

It was just a stupid incident and caused no real harm, it will go down in BB's history as that incident when a noob staff was caught pants down and we laughed at him. Let's ridicule it, it's the healthy and appropriate reaction.
Everyone was betrayed and I fully sympathize with the BB owners and staff.

Now trust. What was my trust based on before ?... I don't know but on nothing objective anyways. I just want to trust that things are run fairly. And it's a game, it's not even really important. Relax. Some words may hurt. It's unfair to make others pay for the mistake of a black sheep.

So I will still be trustful and expect to be rewarded for this (same as usual, at the economic update, all right ? I have raised my fees, check your BB-mail please).

I had line at the end of my post that said "Sorry Marin, I didn't directly mean you and your team, I meant in general" and removed it, because I didn't want to bring up that we are friends in RL))))
But let me give you my opinion concerning that; this is your paid job, and of the others too, and I'm quite sure that your salary in this matter is more important to you than playing the game itself, so some sacrifices for greater good, if it's necesarry, would be expected, and this isn't related to you and your honesty, which is, as you said, unquestionable, and I can concur that 100%, but some things or some people can't go in the same basket with you, as we have witnessed in Antony case, so the easiest thing to do is to remove the possibility...


It is not so important how high can someone jump, more important is who is the last one standing

Do all BB-s know the exact stat weights for different positions? Obviously it's hard to get the best players, even if you know them, but it's still a big advantage.

I think that easiest solution is that BB-teams are removed from competitive positions

I really like this idea. This is the case in real life sometimes. You work in a place that sells lotto tickets, you are not able to win. You work at a casino you are not allowed to gamble at that casino.
Think about it...If I see a player and his OD is marvelous, all I see is a marvelous(level 15), a BB sees the same player and they see level 15.9. How about the hidden traits like fouling? I'm guessing they aren't hidden to you guys. It's like playing a video game with the cheat codes.. Not very fair if you think about it.

The other BB's and I have spent a lot of time over the weekend reviewing the situation.

In the end, there is no excusing what happened. While your trust might not have been lost in us (and, for that, we are all truly and deeply appreciative), it is important to us to show how serious a violation we feel this was and how seriously we are taking it.

Anthony will be leaving the BB team and his BB account will remain locked. The players that were affected will be retired from the game as BB-Ryan has described. We will begin searching for a new DBA to take his place immediately.

Anthony has further expressed his deepest apologies for the trouble this situation has caused everyone and for the poor judgment that went into creating the current circumstances.

For what it's worth, you have my personal apology for introducing this mess on top of the current issues we are working through on the site.

No no no, they absolutely need a team to get a feel for the game.
They need to suffer from the coach AI like all of us ! They shouldn't be spared the darkest side of the game. And they need a good humbling spanking on the court once in a while. Plus some of them are slow I have heard, I don't want to give names, well you know the one I am talking about, they wouldn't understand problems correctly without playing the game.

Strong and definitive opinions based on guesses and speculation as per usual...
It's vital devs have a team, every game I remember of, devs have a team, it's essential or they'd be too disconnected from regular users.
Silly solutions to solve minor problems and create major ones.

Well BB-Anthony surely is more probable having (the lowest) buzzerbeater developer potential than all-time great.

this is exactly what i mean... this is how you will very fast loose even loyal customers like me... this was said by a BB and is totally unacceptable...

I don't think I will ever cheat. The day I start cheating will be the day I lose interest in this game (and will probably quit too).


he thinks he will never cheat? he must be 10000000% sure he will never cheat.

i read in this only 1 thing that maybe one day he will cheat when he looses interest in this game.

I may have no knowledge about programing, but this is definatelly the way to loose your customers and to loose your business...

Well, i do not know on what conditions you are a BB. Hard to want somebody to quit competitive play, on the other hand it's anybody's choice whether he acept to be A BB or not. As soon as you have access to formulas you should at least abstain from NT things for good. To be clear that should apply to all BBs not you particularly of course.

It's not about cheating at all, but advantage of knowledge of formulas is there.

That gives me an idea... I think BBs should change the lowest potential denomination from "BuzzerBeater Developer" to "BB-Anthony".
