I got all excited for a moment as I thought you were talking about Ryder or Williams being brought into the National team

haha mate i am impressed at the level of your analysis

you come scarily close to hitting the truth on a lot of your points
but on some points you are very far off the mark

i'll let you guess which points are accurate and which ones aren't.. but i can confirm some of them are pretty much spot on!

speaking of accountants......

you said ur pulling 100k profit a week

and you also said your merchandise was $62.5k

and you also commented that you had a decent trainer. which i can only assume exceptional due to my recommendations....

doing the sums.... carry the one, to the power of 7......
even if your doing no scouting, maxing out your arena, and given the fact that an Exceptional trainer has a minimum salary of at least $30k.... id say your numbers dont add up, unless you have a Basic PR-manager and Basic Doc.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh but of course - $50k cup money per week. nice nice. yer see I dont cout that towards profit. thats pocket money for when my kids go to college.
mystery solved. :)

Yeh, i did count my cup winnings. The current Exceptional trainer i got about 2 or 3 weeks before the finals of last season. He goes up to just over 25k this week. I use a superior trainer with massage and most times just use a 2K a week PR. Im not scouting at present.

Do have a tough week this week and am at real risk of getting knocked out of the cup.

Id like to stay in the cup for another 2 or 3 weeks so that it doesnt impact on my attendances
Depending on weekly minutes after Avalon Jets tonight i might "hire" someone in for the cup game

Akumas win over Hadders was scary good, but dont disregard Hadders as yet as they would have quite a large bank vault

Appears pretty obvious that Akuma is training game shape and barring injuries and any financial problems they are the team to beat.

MJP are also scary good and I consider myself quite lucky that they conceded their game against me.

Avalon Jets also cant be ignored.

They have been quite solid despite having the 174K 24yo Aussie SG Mark Runciman out injured.

Many many other very good teams.

Is II.3 the toughest div 2 leagu in Australia?????

I dont think mjp are scary good.... they are good, they kinda remind me of my team. very balanced, a low cost-front court except that his are young enough to still be getting training, and he also has a very good SF. scary good though? not quite. not stupid enough to underestimate him though.

define tough - Am i worried about relegation? not particularly. I tihnk fashion victims will imrpove, and obviously adams guns are doing something at some stage.but with a 3 game break already and an assumed forfiet win from adam coming next week, im tossing up my options for this season again already. so i dont really see this as tough.

at a bit of a crossroads really. see how we go after the cup. sorry though, I aint gonna tank :)

You are a 100% correct in that from the "goal of surviving in this league" it is not so tough.

However in the context I was referring to, which is promotion, I believe it is quite difficult.

Season is only young however and given the apparrant dominance of Akuma it is possible that many teams like yourself who are good enough to finish in the finals "as is" might refrain from investing and making a major attempt at promotion and instead might sell down at some stage to focus on building their wealth, to fight another day
