You contradict yourself, sir.
At one moment, you mention how we are all stupid. Then you state, rather rightly in my opinion, that stupidity is a relative term. Then you, again, continue to insist we are all stupid. Stupid? According to whom? And relevant to what? And, couldn't you say we are all at different levels of smart, rather than stupid? That's a choice only you can make. The pessimist or the optimist. I believe I am a realist (not a young person who believes we are all equal as you suggest).
We do make stupid decisions, it's true. But, if you understand the brain, all "stupid" decisions are based on perspective and, therefore, motivation. Perhaps one person's perspective suggests that having one drink, or one too many, is worthy due to the experience shared (or not remembered). It is only the ignorant and arrogant who claim they know what is "better". Because... Better according to whom?
I wholeheartedly disagree the downplaying of education. What you probably mean is education from a school system. This is not what I mean. I just mean learning stuff. One can be supercrazily educated without ever having gone to school.
Do some research. That sounds so condescending... Teehee!! But, please, do. Confirmation Bias. See if it rocks your world like it did mine. Just like everyone else who I suggest it too, I doubt you will. But, good luck if you do.
