You are just criticising everything and everytime.
The NT system is awful for you, you have the disadvantage comparing to small countries, the tactics don't work for you and so on. Is there anything that yiu are satisfied with? :)

As for me, I'd say 2-3 and 1-3-1 are working in the proper way. At least I've seen lots of games won thanks to such a defence. For example, I could have won the final last season if I had chosen 2-3 (26092947)

The defensive tactics suffer from two factors, I think. First, the offense can adapt to the defense and second, the penalty for playing a specialized defense is so high that when the offense adapts, the defense is at a major disadvantage. I think that for teams in higher divisions with more well-rounded squads, playing a specialized defense is very risky. Still, for the majority of teams in BB I think the tactics are all still useful, depending on opponent.

Hell,no!The fact that 3-2 defence has much better results than 2-3 or 1-3-1 defence ,says that there isn't a problem in all the tactics,but only in some tactics
The fact that playing a zone defence against some team is risky is a part of the game,but some defensive and offensive tactics have more black holes than others
Example:3-2 vs 1-3-1
What do you gain in outside defence with 1-3-1 against a 3-2 is too low compared to what you have to give up in interior defence and rebounding.The fact that it's cheap to find decent centers in almost all the leagues,make the 1-3-1 much worser than 3-2 because also if you force your adversary to miss the shot,he can take easy offensive rebound and new attempts

About small countrys i dont care anymore, so dont blame me if i made some posts 1-2 seasons ago. About NT's i got my own opinion that its becoming the same season after season(but its ok).

I dont know if we are looking at the same game, but i'm sure that if you put a 2-3, do you think that your 16k SF that for sure has no more than 7-8 in ID can defend in front of IS of 13 to 15(aprox), do you think that putting that SF will make you defend better or it will make you defend worst?

Did you thought that if you had put a 2-3, how many points you think the other SG was going to score?

I predict that SG was going to be over 20 points in front of a 2-3.

Last but not least he used a SG as a SF, and you think you need a zone 2-3?

Im also pretty sure that this SG playing as a SF was going also over 20 points.



I've also seen lot of games lost thanks to the 2-3
