Well, I'm just going to admit it. Visionaries are better at tanking than I am and are going to earn the #1 pick in the draft, I just don't think I can loose worse than they are the rest of the season. Truth be told, I'm getting really sick of getting my butt kicked night in and night out and am really struggling with playing to loose.

If you don't want to do it, of course, don't do it, but don't worry about the point differential - you just need to figure out how to lose to them when you go head to head and not forfeit or win any other games and you'll get the #1 pick. Of course, it's challenges like that which make the competition so tough for that top spot!

It may require a three man lineup with sub 1k salaries playing Princeton FCP. You are going to want to CT your previous three opponents to get that enthusiasm down around 2. For good measure, blank your lineup but play strictly follow depth chart.

No, Princeton is for winners. If you want to channel the spirit of the loser, you need an isolation offense.

If you want to go back to your defeatist attitude though, I do have road court disadvantage for our loser-takes-all showdown

I kind of felt bad when people were rolling over for Delta, and I think people rolling over and not putting up a fight against your remarkable run is just as disappointing. I just wish more people had the integrity to try to stay within 40 against you, but sadly it appears I was the only one to accomplish that. I think you should definitely have to earn that #1 spot, and while I think you're doing an outstanding job of it so far, I can't encourage people to just cede it to you. ;)

Is it funny that this is what we're talking about, when we've got such outstanding playoff races so far? Now that we're finally mostly through the "Oh, shit, what's this about a tax then?" sales of offseason purchases, it looks like we're settling in for a pretty solid bit of competition.

Ah, but that #1 pick for a Div II level team is just so enticing. There's nothing quite like wasting 40K a week to open up the whole draft board, it's sort of like going to McDonalds and being dissapointed that they don't have prime rib on the menu.

McDonald's is a good analogy... you're lucky to find a quarter-pound of useful meat
