Also, my stadium, (which I am still learning) was sold to like 3,500 when i was selling at 10. All of the sudden went to selling out when I started blowing teams out (after i got my enthusiasm up). So I underbuilt and overcompensated for what i didn't know would happen (that I would sell out).

Now i look at top teams in div 5 for guidance, and top teams in div 4 to know what the likely raise in ticket sales will be (thinking 25%).

So, for the remainder of this season I charge around 90%/80%/60%/50% (of the normal price-descending size). This will give me room for expansion while selling out. When I hit the playoffs I will have 3 home games, which will be where I profit from the slightly lower pricing (at a 2/3 rate).

Probably will overexpand bleachers to price, but I need to get the seats to around 70-80% pricing for Div 4.

You earn more money starting in div 2. It is a fact.
I would be willing to bet 3 months supporter that if I created a team in Japan now (which obviously I can't because I already have a team) then I could get 7 million revenue in my first season.

I certainly did not make that assumption and I never said that Japan D2 is same as Australia D2.

What I have been saying is that you make more money because you start in Japan D2 while Australians start at Australia D4!!

I do not debate with you that Australia D2 will probably make more money than Japan D2 but it is absurd to say that Australia D4 (or US, Spain, China, Italy, etc) will be on similar terms to Japan D2 in terms of ability to generate income. Clearly Japan D2 has an advantage over any D4 team.

No, because you make more in div 2 than in div 4.

You can look back in your team's history to see what you made the last 2 seasons

How?

Arena WITH expansion gets you MINUS dollars, since expanding costs more than you can possibly earn at max price selling out.

I didn't mean you would earn 7 million profit. I'm saying that in 1 season in div 2 you could get 7 million income. How much you spend is up to you. Obviously spending back on the arena is assumed. That will increase your income.

How can I post my div 4 numbers?? I'm not in div 4 now and don't remember EXACTLY what I got. I do know that you get more money in div 2 though.

And it doesn't even matter because it has no relevance to the argument here. The argument is that starting in div 2 is easier than starting in div 4. It is a simple fact.

The economy page doesn't list things back forever. Only for a few months. So I can't check what I was earning in div 4. Seems like you are the slow one.

The fact that everyone here is telling you that you are earning more in div 2 should indicate to you that it is a fact.
It can easily be proven.
Lets say merchandise is similar in div 2 in your country to div 4 in australia.
Your tv contract is going to be about 10 to 20k higher minimum.
Your arena revenue is going to be more than double.

Why do you keep insisting to try compare the league averages when Japan D2 has plenty of bot teams?

These bot teams often have a 5000 seat arena and charge the default prices. Heck even if they doubled their prices they would probably still get a packed 5000 seater stadium.

Why don't you post YOUR revenue so we can compare?
From what i can deduce you make 200k in your last home game. A lot higher than what the bots make in your league!

Okay let me summarise your team:

Attendance 200k
Merch 29k
TV 80K

Total Rev: 309k
(courtesy of you posting your league averages above. I am going to assume your merchandise revenue is on average)

salaries-
74 K
staff 39K assuming again you are getting average
scouting 13K assuming again you are getting average

Total expenses: 126k

Your profit should therefore be 183k or so per week!!

Now...if you are in D4, you don't even come remotely close to being able to make 100k a week let alone 183k!!
