Those new players he bought just before playoffs completely threw off his team balance, I think. It was working beautiful, and he tried to make the win certain - and ended up hurting himself badly, and not knowing what to do.

I wonder how much this push has cost him - can he keep a good team together again next season?

sounds right, that's the problem with buying players in the last minute. It took me about a season to figure out how to use my new players. His center seems to gets into foul trouble alot and most of the time its before 30 minutes. maybe this is the reason why he didnt play him.

I wonder how much this push has cost him - can he keep a good team together again next season?


good question.... a few of his guys are turning 32, his guards are reaching potential cap and will have higher salary. I guess he can if he sells a few players.

Yeah. I think manchild will be very, very happy to grab this title, as it would not have been one he expected to take a couple weeks ago.

Manchild deserved this win! Congrats to him for figuring out the right game tactics and also build up enthusiasm to offset HCA. That showed skills!
CFH done a terrific job to make the final but didn't have the right players to get him through. Well done to both!

Thanks for the congrats guys, much appreciated.

Well I really wasn't expecting to win that series. Given Lukebee's purchases at the end of the season I really thought i was gone. I did get lucky in that 2nd game with Luke some how stuffing up his lineup setting and not playing his 2 new guys while CT'ing as well. Gotta feel sorry for ya there mate. But, i reckon you should bounce back pretty well. Fitnat is a monster. Even if you sell those 2 guys your back to the team that should be in the ABBL anyway. Just a few dollars down I'd imagine.

So I'm off. This is a great league, kinda wish I wasn't going now, but it's time to earn some money again.

My prediction is that my replacement will be the Avalon Jets. They will do exactly what the Tassie Eagles have done and buy a bunch of new players that don't want to play together. The Cowboys will beat Fishy or the Marmots in the final and I'll be back the next season.

i dont think he does either losing wasnt part of the plan when u r 21-0 & add 3 mill of players

I think he played his default lineup which he wouldn't have thought to re- set after he purchased the new guys, hence they didn't even get on the bus to the Snot Bowl. This was not a deliberate move, he did mention that he had set some real tactics to win the game, it wasn't a cocky attempt at getting more income. I'm thinkin it was one of those wierd computer stuff ups some how working in my favour.

I think CFH might have won without the last minute purchases, that team had some serious chemistry through the regular season.

Tho playing 3-2 and l.i is a pretty good tactic. Can you explain why u went for that when your inside isnt that great.

Main reason. I think everyone expects me to play outside tactics in big games. Even though CFH always seemed to go man to man I still had to try it.
Also I did have a bit of success thru the sesaon with inside tactics.
And my guards have really let me down in a lot of big games in the past few seasons and I've lost confidence in them.
