Well, that's quite a stunning news.

That's too bad you'll stop Nico, for you are a good and active manager. I quite never understood why Joe and you were going along so badly.

About the second team, well, I'm not the one who reported you, that's for sure, I even didn't know you had it. Rules are rules anyway, and that's perhaps a risk you shouldn't have taken :/

Most importantly, congratulations on your baby ! That's the best thing to happen, and beats Buzzerbeater by quite a margin. I wish you best for him, for you and your family !

Cheers,
Dart

Well, then it looks like the teams of the bloodbath conference are going to have one team less to worry about this season.
Although I just arrived this season in the BBBL, I quickly understood you were a good manager with quite a history in BuzzerBeater, so i'm nonetheless sorry to see you go.
Just like Dart said, i also don't know why you and Joe never got along very well, and most of the time this happens for quite ridiculous reasons, when you think about it.

But i know family and children are also very important in someones life, so i can understand your decision.

Best of luck to you in your future life with your ever expanding family in Argentina ;-)

Can't help, but I would like to give a short reaction:

Personnal I agree it is a pity to loose some appreciated, active and 'old' manager. As long as I can remember my BB-live, Nico was here. And especially I found myself connected to him as at the time he was planning to move, I visited Argentina and his actual home town Buenos Aires. I'm a woman and mayby somewhat more 'emotional' than I should :p ... but I'm sure i'll miss him here around!

However as GM I have to say this is the only correct decission. We all are aware multi-accounting is forbidden in order to keep the game fair for everyone. Knowing that someone in your league is misleading the community, taking advantage by doing this and therefore undermining your game-fun, is very frustrating. In this case there was indeed no reporting (I shouldn't normally tell this to you as the investigations are not made public to ensure a clear conclussion of facts/eventual appeal and protecting privacy for reporters...(giving you some reasons)). Reporting managers for cheating is mostly seen as 'not done', but in fact the right thing to do to ensure a fair and enjoyable game! Every report gets a close and confidential examination and appropriate messures are taken if necessary.

Hi Everybody,

It's time for me to say goodbye...

As most of you should think, i believe that Joe should be the best Manager of BB Belgium and should be amongst the best of the world (even if he never succeed to win the B3). He is the one who best knows the BB rules and apply it at his maximum.
Thanks to Rev for the recent nice post about me. The longevity record he mentioned should be beaten within few seasons by Joe like all the other ones... without any doubts... but one he should never beat is to be in first division in 2 different countries... I played totally independently with a team in Belgium and one in Argentina (where i am living for 2 years now). I reached 1st division in both championship... but unfortunately somebody noticed it and informed the GM who cancelled my Argentinean team who was the best one of the two with well trained players. It's a too good excuse not to stop playing at BB and take this new free time to focus on Family (i have an Argentinean Baby who will be 1 year old this saturday) and business.

Wish you all all the best!
Enjoy the game and take care!

Best Regards,

Nico.

another great manager leaves us. It's a shame and in Nico's case, when u move to another country that u can't somehow take ur team with u. I somewhat get u'd want a team there and that the only option is to run it seperately, because u are always attached emotionally to ur first team.. the bloodbath conference will get a break for once...

the BBBL won't be the same anymore. Joe won't have that eternal rival which he has to watch out for anymore... not to mention that we are losing a coach who did a great deal for the Belgian NT by training a couple of players and consistently keeping their GS at a very high lvl.

it's really painfull to see good, 'old' & active manager leave the game, especially if u got to know them a bit better. And as GM, it's very unpleasant having to standby and watch a friend getting punished. Still despite this all, u should be proud with what u have achieved. U might have broken the rules, u but are in the category of cheaters that i dislike to see punished so severly. u had multiple teams yes. But u didn't do any transfers. they were in 2 different nations, so u can't even claim u were fixing results or making it harder for ur opponents. The only thing that u can be blamed of, is that ur second team required players that would have gone to someone else had u not had that second team (and if we take into account the large amount of players on BB, then that isn't a big deal for me). However, as GM, both Angi and my point of view should be that we disapprove of what u've done. But i'm pretty sure that i speak for both of us when i say that as BB-managers, u have not lost a single drop of respect. I will miss, both as a BB fanatic and as a great opponent. It still pains me to see u go. i wish u the very best and i hope that we'll stay in touch. If u ever got time and need a chat, drop by on skype. i'm on it for my studies most of the time, but there will always be some time for u ;)

Az~

It already happened to me twice ... Since then, I do the line-up as soon as the previous game is over. OK, I sometimes have to change due to form issues, but so I no longer miss a game line-up (except : Xmas, drunk, or whatever :p).

Good luck in the B3 anyway :s

Well , matchday 9 is just finished and it's becoming increasingly clear that Vottem Cowboys has took the lead forgood in the bloodbath conference, until the end of the season. Because i don't see any team taking the throne from VOT anymore this season.
And in the deepsea conference, I believe the fight for the title will be fought between Mumu and KV Forever, imho, with KV Forever being the favourite.
Another conclusion i draw is that for Coach Q, the competition certainly is no priority this season. I believe he focuses solely on the B3 tournament and The Cup. Because he already gave away some games, the he certainly could have won if he wanted. But obviously his priorities lie elsewhere. Too bad, because I truly believe Basket Mizu Arlon could have really challenged the Cowboys this season, if he would have focused on the competition from the start.
But ofcourse, i understand his decisions very well, you certainly can't win all games if you want to keep a decent GS, so i guess it's the only way to go.
And sadly there was also a disappointing note, for me that is, as my starting SG got injured for two weeks, so it will be tough for me during that period, that's for sure. Nonetheless, i am already looking for an acceptable solution so that i won't suffer from it too much, things are being worked out as we speak, negotation of contract is ongoing.
Matchday 9 certainly presented us with some "heavy" results, and unfortunately i just didn't get the "shutout quarter" achievement, as Obira Dragons managed to score just 1 point in the first quarter, but sadly that's 1 point too many too qualify for a "shutout quarter". Funny, that i had to come all this way with my team, up to the great BBBL, to almost achieve this performance, lol.
