very bad calculation on my part ... I never thought of playing against a highly motivated Obira against me tonight ?! :?
Here is the hard reality of the BBBL: a week with a general enthusiasm of the team a weaker leu and bad choices can reduce these goals of season to nothing.
but that's also what makes it interesting :)

I was lucky that Tumas had to play without Perkins, otherwise things would have been almost impossible.

I won't praise injuries though, since the loss of Hermansky cost me a tournament final and most probably a league game which seems in the end to matter much.

Nevertheless I have a sensible chance of retaining HCA in case of a (hypothetical) final if I can get past Shoes (I have little doubt that Eagles will do his job on saturday).

The last game on saturday will be crazy, with so many teams still having something to aim for, and so many ways of handling them, most notably for those who could end up with a play-off or play-down game.

It has been a very long time since the end-of-season gameday has been such an exciting one !
Most of the teams are still fighting for something and everything will depend on this last gameday.
Kelmis has to win @Shoes to gain the HCA, but Shoes also has to win to ensure himself of a precious playoff-spot, this will be one of the important games to watch for me.
And just as important are many other games, because most of the the teams between position 2 and 5 of both leagues still have to fight to secure their playoff-spot. Only the teams that win their final game will be sure to grab that very precious playoff-spot, while for the losing teams it remains to be seen if they will be playing playoff or playdown at the end of the season, and that's a big difference for any of those teams if you ask me.
I honestly can't remember any season where the final gameday has been so important and exciting as this one !

I would always choose to go for the playoffs, it wil positively impact your supporters number amongst other things, and thus leading to higher income on long term basis.

And also, when i am watching my game, i much prefer watching to see me play for the title than to see me playing to stay in the BBBL, if you know what i mean. I think that, as a manager, you should always reach for the top.

And who knows what happens, i already saw some crazy games before.
