Well Congratulations to you and the other 3 managers remaining! Stajan, Mr.Burns and Headless T Gunner! Very well done! A div II team in the finals is exciting!

Meanwhile it seems GS and a flat out bad roster did me in for my game. I got absolutely crushed.. good game Headless T Gunner! A quarterfinal is my best showing and im proud of it :)

Congrats to the final 4. Well done.

And HTG has had an amazing run. Pretty tough in D2 to be winning your league and having a deep cup run. Usually in D2 you need to pick one or the other but he's found a way to balance both.

Aw, I needed that one more week for my enthusiasm to recuperate. Oh well, I suppose I'm content whenever I make it to the all-star break and I'm still in.


I was hoping to get that 1 more week as well. Not sure how my GS is going to be for our upcoming game. Just gotta go to say my prayers and goto sleep and hope for the best.

Sad though that I lost my perfect season with a loss that included 2 injuries early
good news however was that neither guy missed the next game.

The first purchase I made was an attempt to even the playing field. I was ~$675k salary and >9 enthusiasm against his over $1m salary and ~12 enthusiasm. Then I saw that he had a bid on a $314k guy and I intervened, we got into a bidding war, and I won (lost) as per usual. The third one, which spawned the biggest bidding war between us, was just for giggles, which I hope everyone including LPP will also laugh and celebrate to (particularly if I lose). Because this was obviously extremely dumb. Subconsciously I think I wanted to blow my money so it'll speed up my eventual demotion. I want to demote so bad and just train players. It's the only part of the game I like.

It is part of the stratagy of the game, like it or not. LPP added a guard and Ragin responded by picking up a few crazy salaried big men. One could argue that they both have tried to buy the Cup with their recent purchases.

Injuries have made the first half interesting, lets see what happens in the second...
