Okay, Mickyster, I often see managers post something like 'if you're interested in this player PM me' or some such message. So here is my question: why would someone bother messaging a manager re a player? It's not like you can set a certain price and only they can buy them. I don't get why managers say this. Is it isimply to see if people are interested? If so, my suggestion would be to put the bloody player(s) on the market at a price they want and hope to sell them just like everyone else.

I'm not having a go at you, Micky, just trying to see if perhaps there'e something I'm missing re such requests for people's interests on players.

Who knows if the price is reasonable I may buy them, I can't let Fishy pass me in this too, his #2 rating and million dollar roster is a constant thorn in my side.

Okay. Makes sense. Obviously it's not foolproof but at least it gives the purchaser a chance to get the player they want I suppose...

Believe it or not, a angry GM fined me half of those earnings (cause he wanted the players and i listed them for 150k each

Oh really? I didnt even realise that happened... I would've let it slid. 150k is not too unreasonable for a novelty factor, kinda like a stadium name change.

I guess it was a no no in the rule books.

THis would seem to be an issue imo. with the introduction of the Achievements, namely collecting players with the same first and last names for example, people will pay extra money for them despite their estimated value. BB will have to address this grey area surely.
