fishy i feel your pain!

i sold off my starting PG when he got injured for 4 weeks (as with his wage and 8 matches out i couldn't handle that, plus he was 27 and pretty much capped). I then bought a new, good long-term replacement, who got injured in his first outing for 2 weeks. I lost another good bench player to injury and also had to sell my 6th man to get out of serious debt in the off-season (thank god they changed that wages rule!).

once the dominoes start falling it is hard to stop them (especially if you have no cash). at least you are not 1-7. divIII here I come!

incidentally, depth has been a problem for me but not for others, even though i notice some starters are playing 80-100minutes per week and still retaining game shape - are you all training game shape or something or do you have trainers specialising in massage? would love to know your secrets!

thanks, yes injuries suck especially when some teams never ever seem to get any

yes we have a massage doctor but i read somewhere that he is only worth 2 minutes per weeks, but that is better than nothing

but be wary, sharks like to eat other sharks!

So.... there is 1 win between 3rd place and last place in the Big 8. I know we're only 8 games in, but that's still crazy!

Almost halfway through the season, and in my opinion the main surprises are Steve Crocs and Northcote, who have both been crippled by injury and never really recovered.

Many teams tanking in the Big 8 it seems too, playing worse than they actually are.

Yes, I'm tanking, that's why I'm doing so poorly. Srsly. It's all the tank.

yeah we believe you. I thought your team should be around middle of the ladder. I didn't know why you decided to sell your players.

I didn't think they were good enough to compete... and I maintain that thought!

I'm more trying to manage my cup run and the league. Starting to get more difficult now, but see if I can get another week in the cup without dropping too far down the league ladder.

I need to work out if i have any real chance of winning the title this season, then plan from there.
