Think at my peak I was around 21, WB was in the top 20, and pretty certain Dire was in the top 100 or so as well at that time (could be wrong though). Expect that would be the last time - but it was only a couple of seasons ago.

Well his "trainees" are getting paid around $150,000 a week each, he has MacArthur at around $170,000 and another $100,000 guy so he isn't making as much as some people but he sure will have an incredible team once he fleshes it out.

I don't like that about this game. I reckon that there should be an option for a spurs style Management.

Not sure what is your point. Takin my team as an example of Spurs style managment this is how long I have had the following players.

First Season/Names
10 Oliver and Vallo
16 Barton and Kumar
18 Sperbert and Lawrance
21 Dexter
22 Hannabuss
23 Quinton

So six of my nine rotation players including four of my five starters have been on the team for at least six and up to 13 seasons, sounds like the Spurs to me.

Thats pretty impressive numbers..

First Season/Names
9 Rooney
15 Wazza
16 Scrimgeour
17 Hare
21 Benaud
21 Wall
22 Cunming
23 Mansfield

If you study that carefully, it seems like in seasons 16 and 17 was when we acquired some trainees in Barton, Kumar, Scrimgeour and Hare. In a few seasons after that we have surrounded them with great starters.
