You were obviously too good for that group, so have been put in with us.


I think it is to do with making sure there are no bot teams in the leagues.

What part of China are you from?

I spent some time in China a couple of years ago teaching in Shuzou

Hmm. So it’s like a mini-promotion. Tougher competition, with no financial benefits. No matter. My group of 40yo retirees and 19yo D-list trainees will show you poor saps what true mediocrity looks like!

but really, that makes sense, I was just surprised. I was on the cusp of possible promotion (well, the cusp of the cusp, thanks to my mismanagement) so I wasn’t quite sure what happened :/

and I’m actually American but I was teaching in Guiyang when I started this team and these days I’m kind of nomadic (mostly in Asia)... Suzhou is a nice place!
