I'm trying to understand. 99% of top teams have OD 19 or higher, 99% of top teams have players with JS 19 or higher, so my idea is that if you wanna win using outside attack you need more from other skills and the only one could be useful for it is JR. Following your consideration JR seems useless and it could be but at this point Justin should adjust the GE cause is only a question of good luck winning using outside attack

Yeah, I don't oppose the GE part. I'm just stating that if you want to win with outside right now, you invest heavily into JS and leave JR as a 4th stat only.

Inside offences dominate for 50 seasons, noone bats an eye. Someone wins first time with a different setup, everyone loses their minds.

Why is everyone talking about the offense, instead of the defense part? The outside offense didn't stop it, the defense did. You only saw my one player with the lowest JR, the others have a lot more.

Thanks a lot to all the congratulation messages. It is nice to hear those from a legend like you @Darkonako.

I would like to thank the managers who gave me their experience playing with SB bigs and 3-2 zone. (I miss you Manon.) I made all of you proud :)

I'm a fan of 3-2 in a sense that it's fresh and exciting and it's a lot more usable than it used to be (even U21 rosters utilise it extremely well now), but there's one thing I dislike about it - if you have good enough players, there's no downside to it. Outside? 3-2 amazing. Inside? 3-2 amazing. Whereas 2-3 which is supposed to be effective against inside rosters is borderline unusable.

BB's never been a defense oriented game and I still think that this win is more of an exception than the rule.

Look, did you see? Your victory is appreciated. Because you reflect your character differently here. You are not afraid to show your dark side in BB-Turkey, but you have spoiled the game for many people. Not everyone was your enemy. You created this situation yourself and chose to continue it with persistence. I beg you to put aside your toxic and suspicious behavior. Except for your friends, you left no one to appreciate you in Turkey. You think so too, and yes, those people don't matter to me. But enjoyment of the game and positive energy are important.

I am writing here to strengthen my seriousness, not to offend you. You can believe me, congratulations on your championship. I also think that the taste of this championship is much more delicious because you do not go the way most teams go. Please make this championship a milestone. I hope you understand what I mean.

Peace!

The downside is the limitation of 1 of the 4 inside skills. Assuming every inside player will have at least a high ID, you have to make a choice which 2 other skills you have.

If you choose RB and SB as DY and many others do, your downside is having only 3 offensive players on the court.

If you choose IS and RB, your downside is inside defense because the lack of blocking ability.

If you choose IS and SB, your downside will be rebounds which you will lose significantly.

So yes you are correct in a sense that there is no real defensive downside if you choose RB/SB route but that offensive downside is significant. DY managed to play around it with 3 amazing offensive players but as Alonso said, this was the first time they won B3 despite many attempts with almost the same team.

Yes, but you're talking about an offensive downside, not a defensive one. Defense wise - there's none.

And we both know that the offensive downsides can be mitigated in your defensive C's having different skillsets. You can play outside, you can reverse things - a ton of options, if you're rich enough.
