I am also quite impressed by the result of my team taking into considaration that i was playing without my best player of this season, as i took the risk to sell him in order to buy an Excellent young Belgian player... i finally missed... i was therefore playing very weak inside... and a big loss was therefore expected ... THe result just show that my team improved a lot compared to last year and that with a full team i should have win this game. In the meantime, i got the chance to (well) replace my sold player... and with my actual team, not having the cup to manage anymore, i should not loose games anymore this season. :-)

On the other side, i have been happy to see the game of the cowboys... that showed that Obira could have win if he had been a been more lucky. The cowboys had to play with his best players, who played a lot of minutes... taking into consideration that he will have a complicated cup game, he will have to make choices and take risks for his two next games if he doesn't want to exceed the 80 mins for all his players... that's the chance of Antwerp who played quite good recently and showed he was able to win against very good teams.

In conclusion, i am happy to read that the cowboys were afraid to loose the HCA... and therefore a bit afraid of my "little" team (who is a bit stronger thanks to my last transfer)... and on the other side, it shows that the teams who have to play against the Best team of Belgium can beat him as his team is a bit short to play 3 complicated games the same week... and that his players game shape are not at the best best the moment!

It therefore open the Game what's good for the fun of the game!!! Everybody can win against everybody taking into consideration the improvement of the BBBL teams level and that some teams have still to play the cup.

With more luck it would have been closer.
But I never could have won the game without Klarik in a better game shape.

The bad luck for Obira lies within the injuries of Brunialti and Klarik the past three weeks.And a difficult cup run. (no bots)
Now I really have to watch my back.... I need the points....I wan't to stay in the BBBL.
Training goes smootly.... (good within three seasons)

The only time when you don't need to pay wages is when you.... hm... good question actually...

I know it is meant for the offseason, but I thik it stated: no wages when you... I'm not sure anymore... was it: play no home games in a week, or play no league games in a week?

Anyone remembering?

because indeed it is possible to play no home games in the all-star week as well, but it would be very unfair to the ones having their game at home on saturday.

Anyway, I think they programmed it to only happen in the offseason anyway, so don't count on not paying wages.

I've been looking for the text in the rules, but it doesn't seem to be there (unless I overlooked)...

Its just says “such as during the playoffs” and is Flemish version they mention not when you play a home game

Ook op economisch vlak hebben we wat nieuws. U hebt mss de daling in uw TV rechten al gemerkt. De TV contracten zullen iets lager uitvallen dan de vorige jaren. Dit is omdat de Spelers hebben besloten om van hun wekelijks salaris af te zien in een week waarin ze minimaal 1x thuis spelen (zoals tijdens de Play-offs).

In economic news, you may notice that the TV contracts are down slightly from previous years. Remember that this is because the players have agreed to forgo salaries for weeks which they are not playing competitive games (such as during the playoffs), in exchange for taking a larger chunk of the TV money. Also, as per usual, the dynamic economic tuning model has again adjusted the salary formula to keep the total amount of money spent on salaries roughly flat even as BuzzerBeater players are continuing to improve. In practical terms, this means that the same player whose skills have not changed over the season will make 11% less at the top end of players, and going down from there. Again, players have gotten better, so this adjustments will mean that on average, the total amount spent on salaries will stay the same. Given the trajectory of training over the last two seasons, it seems likely that this trend will continue in the future.

lijkt me absoluut een slechte vertaling van

in de Vlaamse tekst staat namelijk dat je bijna nooit salaris zou moeten betalen, want ze spelen bijna elke week wel eens 1x thuis.

in het Engels staat het wel correct, en dus of je nu uit of thuis speelt maakt niet uit, als ze een competitieve match spelen die week, betaal je. of met andere woorden: Als je dus een week hebt met GEEN of ENKEL oefenwedstrijden, betaal je niet, anders wel.
