Well I did not expect to win against you, because I had a (slightly more ) difficult game cup coming up. Meanwhile I could not make my team for the game cup since I was abroad and messed up my GS. Pity !
Still, Mumu leading the conference, who would have thought ?
I am trying to win the few games I can win, to secure my BBBL place for next season, whilst saving money to attract that nice SF that will make me a permanent resident of BBBL.
So far, not bad.

i had expected more trouble.

anyhow, i managed to win from Boes by going inside once again. I'm starting to get more confidence in my inside game. Altho it's the first competitive game since season 14 or 13 where i haven't made atleast 1x 3 point shot.

Never the less, i've had a very good week so far. Mizu and Stonestars, number 3 and 4, both failed to win this week, where as i got 2 wins. And like you i'm trying to secure my spot in our division fast. tho with the break down of Giants, i was expecting to be getting the 4th or 5th spot ( fighting for it against Angi) but right now, i'm 2 games clear of the 3rd spot..

Mizu loses 2 games + is going to face SSS's full squad on thursday... I just hope that Deseure won't be fielded, cause i'm gonna need him against Costa Rica, and he's already got 64 minutes :S

Anyhow, this week has produced some very strange results... let's see what thursday how things ends... i'm predicting a pretty weird week that will shake up alot of teams ( i can't see Mizu going 0 for 3, but with SSS pounding everyone in II, he might as well go 100% for the cup without bringing his season in jeopardy...)

that was not the best week to gamble... maybe i shouldnt have... i just thought, well, it's a game, let's try to get 3 wins this week! but my first 2 squads were simply not good enough, plus i stupidly played easy vs phoenix. of course i should have dropped one of the 2 league games and go to sss with the best possible squad. but it's not a big deal, this season has now become a transition, i'll try to reach b3's second round and train. and see you all next season

i wouldn't mind you throwing in the towel like that. problem is, Mizu and Stonestars are out, and i'm still in the cup, while i'm trying to secure my PO spot... things are going to get alot more serious now that Stonestars and Mizu are out of the cup...

and Joe got a V in the next round, lucky him :P

no seriously, i have to applaud Nico for attempting to win a game that many would have throw away. i'm pretty surprized about Vottems attacking choice, i was expecting something entirely different.

The cup is remains in Joe's or Sums grasp, since they are clearly the 2 better teams...
I got a III team in the draw, altho it's one that could knock my back up team out. My ambition remains the league ( unless if Joe and Sum get KOed from the tournament, at which point i'll reconsider if it's worth going after the tournament or not). No super draws for the next round tho. But soon, it is going to be one BBBL team facing another.

My cup ambitions are to reach the 7th round, meaning that i'll have a full week of trainng during the allstar game ( i'll need it to make up for the GS training that i was forced to do during my season...)

against Armstrongs? not gonna happen. i played them often enough. Sum could have easely played 3-2 without a problem.

slightly surprized by the Box and One in defence, cause he generally played RaG and MTM (if memory doesn't abandon me on that)

Armstrongs put up a good fight for what he was worth...

Whats more annoying, is that my NT set up is destroyed. 3 injured players (Ivan, Ballaert and Marchoul all hit the ground hard) in one game day... Moreover, it are all bigs, so i'll have to call upon atleast one new big guy to come and join the team... And all those injuries, just before i play the most important game from the first 8 games... what a bummer...

i'm calling this saterday black saterday from now on...

you aren't the only one to blame... Altho, it's going to hurt the Nt like hell, cause we are losing some very important players...

And it should be said, it has been the first sweep in over 2 seasons! I'm pretty happy with the outcome of things. nothing changes in our division standings, and let's face it. If we get swept each saterday, then we'll have better draft spots. so all in all, i'm pretty happy about tonights results. And considering that my B team lost by 32 points against Phoenix on Phoenix's court, i think i should be pretty happy about that aswell.

§o all things considered, i think what happened tonight was the best case scenario for my team :D

I have played CT (yes, nico and me have played CT both Yesterday) in the middle of the season for the first time ever.
