With greatest respect, I dont think Jonte was out of line at all with her recent post and infact thought that her post was quite thoughtful and valuable. (I dont necessarily agree with her thoughts but I do respect her opinion and her right to express it)

I understand what has occurred and why you might be so sensitive to anyone mentioning auto bid in forums outside that particular thread, but infairness to Jonte, this thread was set up to discuss what the priorities should be and in fact quite early on in this thread both myself and GM Manon each gave a summary on our thoughts on each of the options put forward.

Jontes post IMO was well written and simply gave her opinions on a few of the options.

IMO it wasnt out of line and I believe that her post could actually encourage other Managers to give their own opinions on the 3 or 4 options that they considered to be most important, which I personally think is a good thing and as how I intended it to occur, when I created the thread

thank you. it is true, i didn't read the other post. but it doesn't answer most of my questions, see: (264729.85)

my concerns about autobid weren't as important for me as the critics on training.
/edit: it doesn't really matter but I am not the girl in my avatar ;)

ok thank you.

it was just a first discussion on this topic, if you (all) won't dismiss it completely, I could try to go more into detail in the suggestion forum.

I don't think of it as something that needs to be done. it is just an example and a critical discussion of the 3-4 points that are imho something that is too complicated and takes the fun out of training. and a possible very basal suggestion on how we could improve it.

I think it's poor form to use a picture in an avatar if that's not you. Woof woof.

I find it interesting that it takes about the same time to complete your arena as to train a couple of top tier players that you can ride up the ladder with.

Yep it does.

The biggest barrier new players have to face in this game is not the size of the arena but instead a lack of knowledge about the game.

Id imagine the game would get boring if you spent 10 or so seasons stuck in Div III or IV

Compare Buzzerbeater to another potential hobby such as acquaponics

If someone was interested enough to do some research on acquaponics, all they would have to do is google acquaponics and their would be a thousand You Tube clips on the ins and outs of everything to do with acquaponics.

The YouTube clips are engaging and quickly inform and engage interested persons through both visual and audio learning.

No such "engaging resources" exist for Buzzerbeater that cater for a diversity of learning styles
