From what I can tell it is pretty difficult to get over that US NT hump. The USA community is pretty strong so it is going to take getting an 18 YO with at least Allstar potential and $5K salary just to get the ball rolling.

Some guards can sneak under that salary threshold but generally this is correct.

Without question, Mina is my star player. However, I have looked at Mays as the future stud of my organization. Solomon, I recently acquired in order to have a 3rd serioud trainee. What is it about him, in particular, that makes him a weak trainee? I assumed based on his potential and some of his higher level skills that I could turn a nice profit on him if I rounded him out a bit.

Bernard and DelaRosa, I knew were weak. Bernard I was trying to see if I could create a "Dirk Nowitzki" type of player. He is 7' afterall. Delarosa is merely in the lineup because I hadn't really wanted to shop the TL without knowing what I was doing/looking for in a trainee. I knew he was young, had good potential and a few decent skills.

Looking back over my league games, I don't always sell out my courtside seats. Pretty close but not every game. I had thought about a price increase (rather than incurring the expense of building) on my luxury boxes.

Is that the way to go? I'd hate to raise them $100.00 a piece and then have 1 not sell. I'd actually lose money doing that. I was afraid if I went $160.00 that 2 might not sell.

I would increase the price on Luxury Boxes.

2 months ago, I was selling 5 constantly at $850. I bumped it to $925, lost one box holder. Brought it down to $900 and seemed to have brought the guy I lost back into the fold.

As for the courtside seats... I might bring the price down a bit ($150 is a pretty steep premium... especially with your 2nd tier seat at $35) and build some. I was selling out 125 seats @ $105 2 months ago... the increase in price I did to $110 hurt me a bit. But, I am a level lower than you as well.

You may lose some money short term... but should help out long term, especially if you are promoted this season. You might not have the funds to build your arena out next season (because you will be allocating those funds elsewhere).

I've gone ahead and created a new thread linked above. Hopefully this will clear up any concerns about this thread becoming cluttered but that other thread will still get some traffic and generate interest.
