They shortened all injuries a few seasons ago as some were rediculous. I'm not sure if it coincided with the new doctors, it think it was the season before.

This information may not be correct, but I believe that all injuries are on a graded scale from 1 to 10. The most severe, grade 10, I believe is not affected by doctor level. In other words, if that injury (hopefully rare) occurs, then your player is out for 4 weeks regardless of the doctor level. The lower grade injuries are affected—that is, the higher the level doctor the better the chance that an injury is not extended for any more games...There is a chart somewhere in the forums that shows the effects of various level doctors with the different injury levels...Pappy

Koz—I'm not sure either, but I will try to find that post about the various doctor levels and injury grade and how they inter-relate...

(40900.10) this is a copy from a post from the BB, which nearly fit with your theory(there could be lot more level then in the example) at the time of the old staff system.

my player got injured today, doc level = 3, if i buy lvl-5 doc, will my player recover faster?
and 1 week injury means
a) maximum 1 week
b) between 1 and 2 weeks?

faster yes, but not much the docotr works most when receiving the injury.

And the answer is betwenn a and b, i saw 6 day till 9 day weeks shorter or longer period are probadly possible.

19 years + lvl 2 doc -------> injuried for 2 weeks

lvl 5 hired as soon as the match ends = 9 days for full recovery

Yes, but the difference is minimal soyou probably shouldn't hire a better doctor just beacuse this.
