your reading my answer the wrong way round. I will put sarcasim in "" for you from now on.
Try reading the rules, it states as well that Expierence regardless of what is stated is a variable value & goes up as well as down. Now that's something doesn't make sense, why not just state it as it is, a smart player doesn't dump for a game then get smart again.

p.s. Ive had the player ever since I started, and his experience hasnt changed at all (hes the oldest on my team at 29). I used to start him every game, and his experience has always been atrocious the whole time. In fact, my whole team has the experience of atrocious, no matter what age.

So as i said, the player has no value to my team in his experience correct?
And where can i find rules about experience?

That is not correct..I had a player who popped in experience in 830 minutes of game time..
My player who averaged 37 minutes a game in season 9 had 702 minutes in league play and another 120 in scrimmages and playoff games...he popped from pitiful to awful and it took like 780 minutes to pop off atrocious. So what this means is that it is possible to pop in a level of experience in one season...peace

I don't understand what you mean. He has some experience, just very low. Also, there is no such thing as "team experience".

And for those who wondered: no, experience doesn't go down. Ever.


I didnt mean team experience. I am just wondering if I should keep him.

I recall one of the BBs saying somewhere that experience has less to do with playing time and more to do with a player being challenged in a game situation. So, a first division club playing bots in the Cup would likely gain next to nothing in the way of experience, as an example... Crap, now I'm going to have to look for it.

Okay, that took 45 minutes, but here it is, from way back in October 2007: (3709.2)

experience means more than just minutes logged.. it means minutes logged in key situations, having the ability to make key decisions.. etc.. and everyone doesn't have to start out on an even playing field. . . in terms of how it affects the GE, abstractly i'd say experience helps players make better decisions and more accurately assess what is going on.
