I was actually left with no choice. Needed 2 nos of win to stand a chance to reach the playoff. N my two last match is against TAT n PJ. The only logical thing to do.... Normal the first match, CT the second n pray for a win for both matches. A lost against any of those team would mean 5th place. Guess lady luck was shining on my side, as I won PJ by juz 2 pts n considering he TIE me while i CT him. Really lucky me.

I read RedDevilz initial post with great interest. While the top of the MBBA is anchored by several teams slugging it out for the prime positions, it is at second tier level that will benefit the country the most with every level of improvement. Promoting to the MBBA is an achievement in itself, but the real challenge is to stay in the MBBA. Doing it in your first season requires so many aspects of team management, it's safe to say you are really on par with the best Malaysian managers if you manage the feat with a squad fresh out of Div II.

Kwaiwah went from Div III to Div II in one season, went from Div II to MBBA in the following season, and stayed there during his 3rd full season. Doing this with his squad is harder than winning the double, take it from me. I hope there will be more up and coming teams promoting to the MBBA and punching above their weight. It really stirs things up when one or two regular MBBA teams find themselves in a relegation spot. Same can be said for the teams on top, everyone made smart purchases to cover problematic areas on the court. So this season, we kissed goodbye to inside/outside oriented teams. Most of the teams on top now have the versatility to mix it up and we've seen some interesting tactical matchups. Expect to see even more next season.

To teams at 2nd or 3rd tier, train up your superstars and I'll see you in the MBBA soon!

Well said Spaz!

It's been a long long way since a few of us first started out in MBBA back in Season 3. It has been a revelation to most of us in the beginning. In all honesty I find BB so much more challenging and interesting than Hattrick (although I am on my way to div II next season...kekekeke). There are a lot more tactical aspects to BB that I find totally absorbing and at the same time frustrating as well!

Kwaiwah is a really refreshing revelation in the last 2 seasons. He almost made the PO this season too. For sure he's not just surviving but giving us old timers a heck of a fight. That only proves his sound tactical acumen and team financial management.

Now, I only have to find a way to cope with the more than normal injuries I've had this season! And I'm looking forward to more new "Kwaiwahs" next season!

haha..it's a huge challenge for new team to actually give u all a fight, they are lacking far behind in terms of arena attendance and also squad strength, they have no superstars (wages more than 40+) in their team to keep them competitive enough to match u guys...

seriously, i never expected to win against Spaz, he lost just because he forgotten to CT me...if we play again, i'll lose the game easily...

i wish one day i could match his superior team in MBBA...
