One season is approximately 13 training sessions with Play-off or Relegation matches.(correct me, if I'm wrong). That's why the value of age is very high for me.
We are the ones who wanna play, always wanna go but we never wanna stay

And that's why it nice to get one if you can, but remember that the big equalizer is the salary. So unless you have a HF that you are willing to train up to 250-350k, it won't matter that much.

if you train a star, or higher you most likely working three seasons with him and i don't know how much speed you loose but every season 5-10% slower training is big too - and if you draft the 19 year old because of his potential you will train him even longer.
So age is big, but in this case i pobadly would take the potential before age but i won't make the decision easy for me.

I have been trying to work out the math, and the best I came up with is it's about half season of training difference. So, if you get a lesser prospect just for his age you will spend that time just catching him up. For example if you had these two draftees 5ball 5pot 19y and 4ball 5pot 18y who would you take. I honestly am not sure. But if you have a 5ball 4pot 19y and 4ball 4pot 18y old, I would say go with the first one since you will probably end up softcapping both around the same time and you start out with a better prospect.

but maybe it is less then a half season, or at least your trainee fits more your wishes after those hald season of training - and in the end the 18 yo get much higher bids on the market and is an year younger when you sell him.

Well, if you goal is to sell, then for sure you are right. Ofcourse, that's because the market tends to overvalue the 18 year olds as well :)

in my eyes an eye on the transfer prices is always good in terms of training, the best way would be look train lucrative and buy the unlukrative players you like ;) But i ahd to be honest, it is very difficult to act like that and i normally fail on it.
