Well last season i was 1 point behind on the play offs, and the opponent won 2 FT, 12 sec b4 the end of the game. He missed them, and then my player won 2, and he made them. Nothing more to say.

Well i dont think that 1 week to train u teams FT is waste of time. My team shoots ~18FT per game and 12.6 points per game just from the FT. Thats ~10% of the points per game. Considering how easy is to train them i think that is well worth training.

the thing is the difference in shooting, if you raise free throws from 7 to 8 you nearly get nothing ;)

If you watch out not getting a 1-3 ft when buying, you don't need it in my eyes.

What about the trainees then? and your draft? what if all the managers thinking with the same way?

in this case team could make money in training low FT players ;) Even trainees are born with enough Ft, so buy them.

Meh. I am not here to make profit. I am here to win. I am not a stock trader, and i hate to see the game with that point of view. Finances are big part of this game but for me is all about the value for money, not to be rich. The player that i said b4 came from my 1st draft 2nd pick, and his FT's was like 2. Those FT's they where the start of my team to the championship, and by that time i was the 2nd champion in Cyprus history. Tell me now that didnt worth 2-3 weeks FT training. I am playing just 3 seasons, so i dont have the luxury to chose players so strictly as u r suggesting. Also considering how small is our community is important to produce players for out NT, considering that from 75 users max 10 knows what they are doing and they are interested too. From those 10, the half they are not even Cypriots. For example this season champion is from Japan and b4 from Turkey...

free throw don't cost extra, and for win especially before this season you could sell your trainee and buy a new one which would have fit better into your team.

And especially for a small team, you have plenty choiches who to buy ;) For the merchandise income, i have no real clue about it maybe is it worth it, when the rest of your team is a least for the main part just around ft 5(so that you feel improvements there too).

Small team yes, but i am not playing alone. They are 4-5 teams that can contend for the title, something that cant be said for the majority of countries. Anyway i dont think that is a way to agree. For me 3-4 weeks on 4 seasons training being ''wasted'' is not a big deal especially when u get something from it. For me for example waste of training is to train driving, which actually from my experience is giving u nothing, especially on the big men. At least FT's are around 10% of my teams points, that is very important for me.

As a one position trainer, I only have 3 trainees. Therefore I generally use these weeks to train things that can only be done with 2 positions (JS, rebounding). Stamina I usually train once per season when my minutes get messed up (my team stamina is already quite high).
