I guess this fee of 100k is a reason to watch twice.

But you're not really wrong, anyway. I'd apreciate a warning like that!

At the end of the season, just before the start of the new season, go to your Team Page, and scroll down and there's an option to change your team name for 100k.

Newbies should definitely be punished in every possible way, so they dont make sloppy mistakes the next time.

I am not a fan of the idea, but a GM should be able to change a misspelling. I like having the same team name and I like to know my opponents names.

we shouldnt have more work for gms to do

but perhaps for new teams when they log in for the first time there should be a button

confirm team name or change it

that would be simple

I think it shouldn't be allowed to name a team "BOSTON LAKERS", entirely on caps lock. We are not supposed to use caps lock on the foruns, so why teams should be named like this?
And managers that inadvertedly name their teams "boston lakers" should be able to change it to "Boston Lakers" once without fees.

When I joined, I was testing the game and didn't think I was gunna be around for more than a week, so I didn't really care during the sign-up. If others end up liking the game, but not the name they chose (because of typos or for whatever other reason), it is more incentive for them to stay if they can change their team name to something they'd like to keep. So I think if the goal is to keep more people around, this is a good suggestion (and I don't usually find myself agreeing with Naker).
