welcome to the noble art of balancing salaries... I am very scared of what my 24 yrs old top player will become at the end of this season...

anyway, at least till primary skills are not very high (and tall man DO have impact...), you can carefully balancing skills growth in better team's interest. if you want to discuss it and don't want to put skills here, just drop a bb mail to me. May be there is a solution, may be there is not, but if not next season, the after you'll be impacted. Very often just arguing about opens the mind. if you're intereted, I am here.

Do post here if you do intend on letting Gandhi go, we're all on the 'belilah barangan buatan Malaysia' campaign.

Lol I always plan my rosters to the point that I only have to train 2 players max because the rest would be too old to be worth training (It'll take forever to pop given their potential).

I proof that you can fully train 3 monorole. With 4, as this season, you will have suboptimal results of course, as you'll rotate trainees, and it's applicable only if you have 2 players to be refined on different skills (Scalambrieri needed JR and 1v1, Lisanti PA and OD for instance, in my team). Three can be trained at top, but of course you need to have a roster where the same training is reasonable to ALL trainees (if I have one with 8 OD and the other 15... well, it makes no sense at all): every now and then I deeply review my trainees panel to be sure that at least for one season it makes sense.
The other parameter to be kept in mind is balancing of skills to the team: I have a good pipelines where players are shifted one season each other, to at least step back one season in top player skill (selling the eldest, buying a younger but having additional cash to be reinvested). In other words, I have Lisanti-Masters-Estramin, probably Lisanti will leave (or move in SF spot, not trained because of cap - but in this case I will sell current SF), Masters will become starter, and a younger player will join. Unless... well, let me shut here

Looks like the predators are ready to pounce. Too bad I don't have enough dough or I'd be on his tail as well...

?

Wow... you have a 6 digit player there with those stats.
He is definitely an NT player next season (But not for me to decide :p)

My advise is definitely to train up on secondary skills instead of primary skills. His primary skills are great enough as it is now. Not to mention that every increase in primary skills now will increase more burden to your team financially but only help marginally in your team performance.

He has very good potential to be a great PF with his height (His Driving is a pity though)
Increasing on Jump Shot and handling would definitely be a good place to start. So you can train on 1on1 (Forward) or Jump Shot(Wingmen).

If you choose to train on 1on1 you don't need to play offposition (You can set him as PF). 1on1 trains on DR, HN, JS, IS. But 1on1 trains IS quite fast, so you have to be prepared to increase salary by ~ $20K for every point you increase on IS next season. If you train 1on1 the whole season you should increase on IS by 2-3 points.

if you choose Jump Shot (Wingmen). I propose Wingmen (SG and SF) because it trains the most skills - JS, JR, HN, DR, IS. And IS is not trained so fast. Even if you train on Jump Shot whole season you should only increase 1-2 points of IS. But of course this will mean you will need to set your player off-position.

His FT is also a bit weak for me. I prefer at least inept. Can see his FT% is below 50% so that needs improvement.

One thing to note is that both training trains 2 positions. So you can at least train total 4 trainees. So you should look into increasing your trainees for next season. Preferably trainees who will benefit from training on JumpShot or 1on1.

Great job training him up to his current level!
