My star player got injured last season for 5 weeks. He missed one game from his NT game, then I had him on the roster as reserve for the scrimage after. To my surprise... he played 2 minutes at the end of the game, and after the game he was fully recovered.

I think it was a miracle

I tried that after with another injured player I had, but it didn't work anymore

With a 23-24 YO player and a Level 6 doctor, it is about 7 days per week of injury.

A 19 YO will be somewhat less, but 5 or 6 days, not 3 or 4.

A level 1 doctor will be forever. I've never had a level 10 doctor.

lvl 1 doc = 7 weeks

lvl 10 doc = 7 weeks

nice and constructive! you obviously like to follow strict number patterns... like your 5/2/2008 - $204300....5/2/2008 - $204300... 5/2/2008 - $204300....

The whole thing about doctor is very simple...Everyone should choose doctor according to:

1) his ambition (promotion, title, cup winning)
2) value of players which has to be protected from injuries

Simple like that...

If you have expensive team, few NT players, young trainees, and are chasing 1st division title and/or cup title then it is logical to spend 20k on doctor. I mean, what is 20k in comparison to above mentioned?

But still, isn't it a bit long 7 weeks. I also read on the fora that 3-7 week injuries are quite common. That means missing 9-21 games. That's a lot. Shouldn't it be a little less severe?

everyone here agrees that injuries are very often and serious...maybe this variable of BB needs a little research and comparison with real life basketball experiences...

I had a two week injury to one of my three key trainees last season. Not only did he miss the time, but he dropped two levels in stamina, thus reversing the benefit of the two weeks of stamina training he received when I first started BB.

Not good.

Players not receiving training and losing stamina cause me to lose interest in BB. If one of my three key trainees were to receive a substantial injury and set back their stamina as well as lose future training, I doubt very much I'll continue with this game.

Seeing my team improve through training is what keeps me in the game. If one of my best players were to be knocked out for eight weeks, lose stamina and not afford me the pleasure of seeing him improve through training (to say nothing of his not playing), that would bring my enjoyment of BB to a screeching halt.

Very simply, I would no longer have a reason to log-on any more.

So I wouldn't.

what about stamina. they changed the drop of stamina.

Stamina loss will now happen at a regular, set rate for all players. It will be more difficult to keep high levels of stamina than low levels, but all levels of stamina will drop much more slowly than at present.

does this mean each player loses stamina, but players who dont get enough playing time lose even more. Or does this mean everyone is now losing stamina regardless of how much they play.
I know that last season everyone needed to play at least 24min. does the news say they changed it?
