In fact, you're absolutely right. I've been noting down the team ratings for all the teams in my conference for data collection and it does clearly show that their defense is not as good as their offense.

Last season I allowed less than 1000 points for the season. I asked in a thread if anyone had topped that, and no one raised their hand.

So that is the target to shoot for, I think.

And I've only allowed 416 this season, which is not as good as last year.

Were u in div5 last season? Cause its easy when in lower div to not allow points

I don't think PA is a good measure of "defense" just because the tempo of your offense affects how much the other team scores in total as well...I myself am at 620 at this point in the season, but I'm sure if I played slower (low post or motion), that number'd be much lower...

I can only play the games on my schedule.

Plus the question was asked by a fellow member of the USA D IV, so my comment is apropos.

However, I am certain I would do just as well in a cupcake league like the Australian D III.

Pace has an impact, of course. That has worked quite well. So my games are usually my playing NORMAL versus the other fellow's RnG. That is the same pace as you playing RnG and the other guy NORMAL, is it not? It is not like I play a slowdown offense, because that does not work for me.

However I built my team on the premise I'd be facing morons who play RnG and FCP with starter team talent. I am a bit surprised my strategy and tactics have worked as well this season, including a major Cup upset in my last game.

So I'll stick with my tactics for a while, knowing I'll have to continue to adapt.

lol i don't think you will get under 1,000 PA if you play in my league. You only have 1 10k salary guy (not saying salary means they are better or not) and most teams have at least 2. I have 4 or 5 and one is 50k SG. You would be lucky to make PO
