If they are wasting points on scouting the 1-2 ball players twice then it's no suprise they are finding it hard to find a good draftee haha.

I don't even ever scout 3 ball players twice and it has to be a fairly good 4 ball player to deserve it in my opinion.

honestly in your position, i would scout the 4 ball players twice before the 5 ball ones. With 4 ball you mostly have still solid/good starting skills, but the 12 teams who draft before you would know the 5 ball player better or draft them in a random way(they just know the ball then you choose the 5 ball first) before the 4 ball players.
So the chanche to get a great 5 Ball player is relative less, compared to a 18yo 4 ball player with good potential.

silly yoda for scouting at all, u got 2nd last pick youre gonna get rubbish anyway so why spend anything?

Sadly 14 teams will draft before me, on the other hand I actually aren't sad about that at all!

Here is the issue I have. I did the same figuring as crimedevil. Being a middle pick It would be nice for the ability to scout 4 and 3 ball players. On my first pick there is a chance for a 5 but most likely a 4. Second time around chance 4 more likely 3. You do not get nearly enough points to do so. Also I joined back in this game again little over a month ago. They only gave me few points to start with. Definitely behind in scouting so it is even worse. The other problem is how poor the judgment of the scouts are on assessing skills pre-scouting. Out of the 10 5 ball players 1 was 5ball 4 were 4 ball and 5 3 ball or less. Out of the 19 1 to 2 ball players 7 were 5 ball 4 were 4 ball 5 were 3 balls and 3 were 2 ball or less. If you are not going to give enough points to thoroughly scout at least make the early predictions somewhat realistic! Maybe a couple would be messed up but that many that far off? Now I am not sure if I should leave my 3-4 ball unscouted players up top or are most of them going to follow trend and not be good?
