i think a vote could only work, if the initial vote process was done by the system, and the player could order the votes for the top 4 of each position. if they don't do it, the system would choose it like before.

If you vote for the weakest players of your conference, your all star team will lose the game.
Considering that ASG has no impact on merchandising or anything else it's no big deal, right?

The aim is to involve people to follow and partecipate All-Star week. If they want to partecipate by destoying it (voting bad players) that's ok, it's better than now. Right now it's just a waste of time.

I'm not sure to understand why someone gets benefits by voting in the worst...Just to win the ASG?? What do you get by winning the ASG?

And you're right, Biffo, the aim is to get the community involved...as it is, the ASG has very little to do with the users...through this everyone will be able to participate...I can't speak for everyone but, given the opportunity, i would really vote for the best 'cause i can't see a purpose in doing the opposite...maybe i'm being naive but i can see this working in a positive way...

ASG has very much to do with the users! Without it the cup could not take place for the bigger countries, not enough time without the additional cup game in one week.

This could be also a good idea.

For example we could introduce the very same system to vote for the MVP of the league at the end of the season. With CrazyEye's suggestion this could be implemented as well.

I don't see anything happening anytime soon (i mean, this season, at least...) but i would like to hear from GM's if there is any idea of working something out of the ASG...

I just hope that if we're persistent, at some point our suggestions will be taken into account. With the new team there might be a bettet chance than ever :-) Will probably still take quite a while :-)
