My ex-girlfriend changed her name because she was told that from a numerology point of view it was an unlucky name. When her luck didn't change (she wa still with me) she switched it back. It was a huge effort each time.

thats cheap.

In Austria it is almost impossible to get your name changed unless it involves some religion or crime ...

maybe his GF, first maried him, then divorced him. Easy way to get a name change.

Dont know the going rate for a divorce though :D
