guards need more minutes than big men. and I'm talking more about training GS, not just GS alone

Wait, really? I never knew that.
Is this proven or is it a theory?

My personal (anecdotal, unconfirmed, unresearched) observation is that Game Shape training has no practical effect if the "true" game shape is higher than respectable. So, my opinion is, it's a crutch for the people that don't manage minutes for one reason or another, while kicking the rest of us in the teeth.

But that's my point. If a player is strong and has 100 minutes this week, his "true GS" is going to be respectable or average at the training update. Training GS will typically help that situation, keeping him at high respectable or strong.

By contrast, if I get my players 60 minutes a week, week-in and week-out, their natural GS is going to be medium strong or better pretty much all the time. Training GS will do me jack diddly.

i think it is broken the other way its 2 good

i know of teams that just had 5 good starters and played them 3 games a week & the cup with massage guy and gs training they could be kept in great gs

about 5 games in 6 the teams played the same 5 starters and in the other game (too hard or too easy they gave them a rest)

one week they would slightly drop in gs to respectable the next pop back up to strong or proficient

is this really the way the game should work that teams can have just 5 players (+ some 5k scrubs) and win 3 games a week every week

it seems stupid 2 me

That's the thing, GS training from my experience IS very effective and usually gives +2 across the board if the minutes aren't too bad, but here my minutes were perfect and it did very little for me

I must ask the same question. I trained GS and not a single player received a pop. Or at least this pop is not tracked in the training screen or on individual player screens.

Is this an error?

GS 'pops' don't count as 'pops'...it boosts their GS but it isn't tracked since it's not a skill
