You are right, always was too strong. There are definitely exceptions involving teams waiting to make a run and/or teams dealing with a salary floor in an unbalanced league. Probably some other times too. But I think these situations are rare, and most of the time people think they are in these situations, they just don't know the exact right move (I might not either).

You might be in one of these situations, but your arena could still be bigger, and I'm not convinced you couldn't spend some cash replacing some players with more salary efficient ones to set yourself up for next season while getting better and staying close to the floor.

well having money on hand is better than having none at all.. I know like trainees and it build revenue, But i like to have mass cash on hands becuase not every trainee is going to work out, but you can out buy someones team with better players and beat them with the right tactics :).

Money wont get out right ahead but you even the odds somewhat . ometimes best way to beat a team is to make them spend. hahaha

If you're spending money on trainees that aren't "going to work out" then, just maybe, the cash-related solution to this problem is to not waste the money in the first place, rather than wasting it and then compounding it by spending more. The draft, obviously, is a crapshoot but there's no reason at all to buy someone who is a "trainee" if they're not suited for the position.

I'm in that situation (I think). My arena's the second biggest in the JBBL (and generally getting around 80+% - if I consistently get 85+, I'd build a bit more), and given my key guys are still 22/23, I'm a little away from competing at the top levels of my league.
To be able to afford the players I want for when they are ready, I have to accumulate cash. LOADS of it.
Flip side of that is that I want to stay at around 4th/5th.

yes i know this is why i dont do any trainee LOL :).I rather buy a young stud who from the top league and who can play , but is unproven :)..

Its a very good feeling to get unproven player and make him mvp or scoring titles. Im not good with training the new guys all the time. i like player with a game experience, you know like 18- 24 ppg lol. :).. I know how to make them work better, new guys take to long to show they got the courage to perform. This is why i seel them. speaking of selling i ahve player you may like? :)

But you are wasting the talent of Wolf and Hudson, who could have been trained, popped a few times, then sold for a bit of a profit.

You have to make sure you have "strictly follow depth chart" selected to ensure that these two do start.

I had to laugh at how you talk about players as if they were in a real life situation. The players would 'work better' for you because the opposition is weaker then a top league.

it means to buy benchs players that are young from top teams or higher league who can score but who just dont score good enought to stay on that upper division team. i call them studs, becuase i love a scorer.. its a thing of beauty,
