You may also want to try a different tactic like outside box and one or 3-2. After having a quick look at both teams, this is what I'd do cause the other team dont have much IS or reb, plus they always play the same. Also keep offense the same but change individual def. This means, set PG to play Sg in defense only if that is your best option.

If you run 2-3 zone your SF needs good inside defense, otherwise he'll literally foul out before half time. I learned that the hard way. If you don't have a player that can defend inside as SF, m2m would be better.

ok a box and 1 is where say you play outside box and 1 your best outside defender will follow play tight lock down defence on there oppositions best outside scorer. While the other four would guard the paint so two at either side of the free throw line and 2 down on the blocks. So that way they cant get easy inside shots. But if they have more than one good outside shooter youll get burned. This is what i know from playing a outside box and 1 in real life basketball ive never actually seen a inside box and 1 so cant ay how that works but i reckon thatd be the same

Box and 1 defenses rarely work as expected. It doesn't guarantee that your best outside defender covers your opponent's best outside scorer, or vice versa for inside. I wouldn't use them.

Using the same tactics as you did means that you should still win the match if, your game shape and their game shape has remained basically the same seeing that you now have home court advantage. However, they may opt for more outside D, so therefor, my thoughts are go for a little more outside D but not too much. Outside box and 1 will give you that extra D without hurting your inside D and rebounding too much. It may not stop their best player, but it will hurt their 3pt% overall. This is just my 2 cents.

Next season, you should experiment with all sorts of different tactic combonations, so that you gain experience in learing how things work. This will help you decide whats needed and how it can help you out in different situations. Experiencing different sorts of things will only improve your game. Also annalysing your opponent before the first and 2nd match helps alot. GS plays an important role in both matches. So you must find out which player(s) improve or get worse. This will become easier to analize over time as you gain that extra experience.

Good luck with your match.

you spoke earlier about double teams....it does happen on a randon lvl playing man 2 man depending on the defensive strength of your players, you may not see it at all during games, but when i play m2m I do get a few.

IMO this is one of the effects of shotblocking people don't have a clue about. It is only logical that high shotblocking atributes will result in help defense opprotunities during a games playing m2m.

Another thing, Wan Weiqiang is not a proper PF. Don't worry about his outside skills. You need a proper PF. Getting a proper PF will help way more than Wan Weiqiang. It will help because you will improve your reb, and scoring + overall def. This games engine works mainly on attack v def. A PF with good outside scoring will not do much for your team playing outside when he can not score inside or defend inside. Aim for proficient inside if you can afford it, plus, mediocre skills everywhere else especially handling as a minimum.
