The Bruins were simply the better team down the stretch. The leafs are inexperienced and, like the Islanders and Ducks (and hopefully Oilers), are just about to burst that bubble and become solid contenders.

1st part: Open for much debate.
2nd part: Yes, they got too smug with the 4-1 lead. Missed a breakaway to ice it. Remembered how to play ole! defense out at the point at the wrong time.

That was the unmistakable sound of the Leafs choking - Big Time. At least with Harold Ballard and his lackeys they never made the playoffs and we were never disappointed like this. Gotta buy myself some Maple Leafs toilet paper!!
