Haha, he's had like 50 players named grubbs!!! That's hilarious. Yes I did read your post on BB Economics and it was very helpful. I was wondering if I'm in a league with mostly computer players how does the CPU draft? Do they get points or just randomly pick?

Its random.

So even if you place first in the league you will likely generate one of your top 2 picks.

Its worth considering even investing 20K a week because of the advantages of being in the lowest Div. You need good draftees to build your team around early on, and they will be more effective.

As you move up to Div 4, if you pick towards the end of a draft you will probably not get one of the coveted players.

So its worth considering 20K a week, even though money is tight in Div 5.

Yeah I'd probably go for 10k per week. That way you get 2 points and pay 5k per point which is the lowest possible price (1 point is also 5k). And since money is indeed short in the low divisions the extra 10k for 1 point doesn't seem worth it to me.

But you can still get quite a bit of info with that.

I haven't really noticed my money being tight at all, every week I make like 60k and just add on to my arena and play the waiting game.

If there is anytime to dump 20K in scouting it is Div 5. Chances are you will get two good draftees and you might as well go for it. If I had a re-do I probably would have done 20K.
My plan is to dump 10K each week this season, but I will probably use zero and save them for next season.

Can anyone explain how the elastic effect works with training, maybe show me a link, I saw a post about it, but I can't find it anymore.

If you download the training simulator it gives some values for the elastic effect on the coef tab. From the simulator it seems rather small. To me it should not be a factor in how you setup your players. For instance handling training can be boosted by outside defense. However, its usually better to train handling as you are training driving (unless the player is extremely short).

Others feel it is more important. However, I tend to accept research.

It may be effective to train IS before ID/RB. But it depends on how you want your player to end up. You may not want too much IS. That sort of thing.
