Here's a presentation of the goals, current roster and other young players:

Goal
This year's roster doesn't seem to be enough competitive to achieve important trophies. My goal for this season is to get to the second phase: it won't come easy, we'll have to fight for the sixth spot against Nigeria and Tounes.

Roster
Nice situation among the guards: Nogwahya, Moseqani and Gulch are the most promising and I expect them to be in the NT if properly trained after this season, Kasanje is not as good as the others but he could be useful.

Tragic situation for SFs and big men: Mangobe could be a nice SF in the future, but right now isn't competitive. The two big men currently on the roster are Legodi and Mahinya and they both have big holes in their skills. I hope we don't get destroyed on the boards by other teams.

Future
The future is looking brighter. Moyo Mwakangale (30355573) is an interesting player and looks like he will be trained well. Mongudhi (30355594), Fitchen (30355581), Chisiza (30355578), Ntsoane (30355577) will all be trained, according to their owners and given their starting skills it's good news.
Masilea (29093903) is also trained. That's amazing news for U21 and specially for the NT.
The situation of Tembo (30355558) is followed (the manager hasn't logged in since 20/06) to avoid his retirement.

Please keep an eye on the "Players on sale" thread: there are some interesting players with awesome potential on sale.

At last I'd like to thank GM-BlackMouse for the help he's giving me in this experience.

Good news: I'm glad to announce that we have a couple of new scouts to help me following the prospects.

Bad news: Nogwahya injured two weeks. He probably will miss the important match against Nigeria next Monday.

Tonight we play against Misr: we have no chance of winning, but it will be interesting to see our Team Ratings.

Misr 97 SA 94 (24710)

I'm surprised by Misr's Team Ratings, we totally could have win this game. Unfortunetely too many missed FTs and poor GS of Gulch and Mahinya were important factors in the loss.

MVP: Nonceba Legodi. 19 points (9-14) and 7 rebounds.

Coming next: Nigeria. Next game is a must-win one. Nigeria beated Tounes yesterday and they are now 1-1.

SA 93 Nigeria 99 (24715)

I didn't expect Nigeria to put more effort and that's one of the reasons of the loss. Again bad GS for Gulch and Mahinya were negative factors,

MVP: Nonceba Legodi. 28 points (13-21) and 7 rebounds.

Coming next: Ghana. No chance of winning, better be prepared for the match against Tounes.

Communications: Please welcome the two scouts that will help me out in this work of relaunching U21 South Africa: Kwoner (36552) and bambos (48631).

It's going to be hard but not impossible. We need two wins against Tounes and Al Maghrib, after that our faith will be decided in the match against Senegal.

Tounes 77 SA 90 (24723)

First win of the tournament against Tounes, even with less effort.

MVP: Gary Gulch. 22 points (9-22), 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

Coming next: Al Maghrib. Decisive game if we want to go to 2nd round. We need a win since Al Maghrib will face Tounes in the last game.
