Alright. I've decided to go ahead and run for the National team manager. I've been here for a long time now, worked with some great people and would like to add to and enhance the National team, both in terms of player quality and community involvement.

I'm not going to write a huge post, but if you have questions feel free to ask.

TL;DR/warning: ignore this whole post because I'm just being needlessly annoying and whiny.

it seems that at this point Canadian BB community is a bit risk averse, so I want to provide experienced candidate that is commited to BB community as an alternative. And when I say less risky I mean more well known in Canada, because my style when it comes to actual games will be different than Bballins (I would try to continue his great job with scouting and training management though, which I already was able to help with before this season). For games I would like to take more risks. I am not fine with being outside of playoffs in World Cup, and basically settling for that place by not risking. Could we lose more games with more risk? Of course. But we can't win without it.

Bballin went 4/4 on GDP in our three losses and our five opponent's went 0/1 GDP against us. We had higher overall ratings in all five games. I think we were without a fit Denny Hall for our last two losses too.

Not sure I agree with the emphatic assessment that more risk would've been better. 2-3 with Hall is very risky and without Hall is just plain bad.

Also, I think I can answer the question about Gaudreault as well. During that season LI was a dominant tactic and that wasnt going to change since GDP wasnt in place. I would aslo cut one guard from the rotation (we still would have plenty on the roster) to have LI SG that could create a massive mismatch

Kozlik's most suspect guard selection wouldn't have been Gaudreault, it was a player with 14 JS/8 JR/16 OD and only +2 IS higher than Kearns (who he left off). That's very curious to me and frustrates me even more that my player has never received a skill check for his NT (despite constant pleading) while being almost +14 combined JS/OD/IS/HND/DRV and almost +4 REB/ID and only -1 combined PAS/JR. /whinewhinewhinesorrysorrysorry

You are looking at a smaller picture now (just last season), meanwhile I was more talking about LI era. Besides, I dont see that statement as bold. It is not a shot at Bballin in any way. He was a great manager, active, helped community tremendously. Problem is that he is not running and I want to come out straight and say what to expect with me in charge so you guys can make informed decisions

Looked over your roster and transfers, and dont see any potential NT player there (unless you meant Hadley). Tommorow will look at offsite forum and respond to this situation (although it wasnt directed at me).

Really glad that scorcher entered. Winning by default in fairly active community would be weird. Good to have other candidate on board.
