If anything i would like to have a more slim pool but with higher quality. A LOT more Allstar potential players and a heap more star potential and also more P.allstar. Make the increase in these potentials from the lower potential pool so that everything under star potential is almost as rare as the higher end. But also make the lower potential players slightly more likely to be better when drafted so that they can be useful still.

This is really accurate. I feel like most of the draftees are 1-4 potential and that is simply not true in real life. Obviously, that does not mean the draft should be filled with MVPs, but it should be filled with 6-7 potential players.

Plus, we could have just two draft picks, we don't really need three crappy picks

So True!
Non drafted player should even be on TL...

But if you overfill the draft with 6-7 potential players, it just means it becomes useless to scout them because you could just pick one up off the transfer list after the draft for super cheap.

The players will low potential make no sense to me. If someone does not have the potential to make it in the NBA, they are not even in the draft. Whether someone actually fulfills their potential is another story.

That would actually be really cool. Teams could enter the draft with either a strategy of getting a guy who's useless for now but could be a star, or a guy who's effective for now, but will never be much better.

I am not advocating to increase high potential players. But anything lower than starter/star is pretty useless for training unless you boost skills.
