Or maybe base the games on the host country ? Whatever the time of the host country is, that's what the games' time is (just like continental tournaments). If you want it to be somewhat fair that is.

I know it would be bad for some countries, but all you need is to change it every tournament. Some seasons will benefit European's teams, others American's ones and Asian's ones.
