i would first train him in OD, when you make one position training you could start with passing, to make him more suitable for the PG training spot.

But OD is for me the most important Guard Skill, but like Astragoth said, i won't be bad to have an Guard who could do everything or at least driving+ od + JS+ JR as a Shooting guards ...

This was the way most players will train their trainee, but for example driving wasn't trained from the italian nationalteams and they are very succesful ... But even NT who look more heavily on driving, have succes not that much but they work good ;)

Edit: The superior succes of the italian, i think won't base on their regret to one on one training, i would say they have the best orhanisation in scouting and take care of their potential player, and maybe they profitate a (little) bit from the no one on one philosophie.

Guess I should train outside defense instead. Something not possible for SG/SF anyway. A bit doubtful that SF need a lot of outside defense though and I try to combine those positions ...

can you not train (let him play) your SF in a guard position so he gets training??

That is exactly what I am doing

But important that I train something that benefits both SF's and SG's as I train both those positions. If SF has little use of outside defense then I should try something else. I will train this two positions this season but not sure how I will continue. A bit tempting to train SF and PF for next season but partly depends on what drafts I will have of course.

like i said, no skill is useless.if you play 3-2 (if i understan it correctly) your SF helps increase your perimeter defense and than having an OD skill definatelly helps!!!.

If you plan to play 2-3 than your SF will help more out rebounding and inside defending. so it all depends what tactics you are going to use...

and yes it is a bit tempting to swatch training other positions. but train 2 positions for 2 years and train other positions for 2 years you surely will have a squad off decent players. train 2 positions for 4 years and you might have developed a few all stars or mvp´s
