I think that someone is wrong . Training shape has some sense when one million is a stake .


I think he just said that:

I think he said 'someone' which can be 'anyone'. And if I remember right, some posts ago 'someone' posted it is a waste of training (without rare exeptions)
So I'm guessing he meant that 'someone'

(yeah I know... I still suck ;รพ )

I think the bottom line is that with the exception of injuries to important players in regards to important matches (your best guys probably have decent GS unless they have been injured) it would probably be difficult to find an experienced manager who uses GS training on a regular basis.

using GS training on a regular basis indeed shows lack of good managership.
However it is posible one has played his starting 5 excessive minutes and are likely to go down. (for instance in a week with 2 important league games + cup semi's).

Then you face the cup finals next week. So it might not be a bad idea to train shape in order to pull them back in line.

So it is not very unlikely to happen to some teams.

Same can happen when the POs are underway. ;)

Again rare exceptions.

However if a new player were to ask me if I thought training GS was a good idea, I would say no. By the time he gets to the point where these exceptions might be relevent to him, he should know the difference. I like pops! :)
