Huge game that. I'm watching with interest...

I've actually been pretty happy with how my lower-paid Cs have matched up with the monsters you guys have fielded against me.

Those guys weren't monsters. Sonoda is a monster!

I can only go by salaries...
- Sonoda: $94k.
- Call/Pollack: $58k/66k.
- Amikam: $91k.
- Mouse: $111k.

We've been ok.

A very close game and finally after losing every close game I had huge luck and beat the unbeatable by 2 while NKRK lost by 2 giving me 2nd on ladder.

Nice to see $1.3 million invester to better your team.

NKRK trust me Sonoda is different.

It was horrible luck for you to lose to Terry Bogard in such a close game and so unexpected. But your season is still far from over. Unless I can find a suitable player in the next few days I will still be very vulnerable to your team which convincingly beat me last time. If you beat me in the QF then really all you need is an upset against the Sapporo Fighters and you are heading to the JBBL. Two games and a bit of luck. I still think any of the top 4 on the Great 8 can win and perhaps aisteru.4ever has a chance now as well. So many very well managed teams here in this league things are far from over. If I had to predict I would still think Sapporo Fighters #1 chance and Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings #2.

It is funny, I don't feel that way, but I do feel like I do want to give my best shot rather than just sitting back and being passive. Good luck on Tuesday, I still feel like you are the one team I can never beat, hopefully this time I can break the jinx.

Sapporo doesn't need to worry because he will get a bot promotion now anyway if there is one which I think there will be but I will check for sure. The pressure is on us other three to perform or fall short yet again.

Yes just checked II.4 is 100% bots. So the winner there will be promoted and then in the bot cleanup a spot in the JBBL will be created.

In II.3 there is only one human team Umi says, who are 22-0 and should take the championship easily. Their best player is $20k and second best 10k, they wouldn't make the playoffs in our division but off to the JBBL they go.

II.2 is a problem with two 22-0 teams Small Town Operators and Miyazaki Freeters. The Operators are so confident of victory they are selling their 2nd best player right now. But the big problem is the Freeters have a 20-2 record with +988 PD form using their $10,000 players to beat up on bots every week while the Fighters had to fight real teams and have just +862.

So I take it back, the Fighters, if somehow they don't win, will get totally robbed by the Freeters who are about 1/4 as strong. So the 4 promotees would be someone from II.1, both Small Town Operators and Miyazaki Freeters from II.2 and the laughable Umi says from II.3 who will be smashed every week in the JBBL by 100 and probably quit.

Actually there is one more thing.

Kuzu High School Last Seen: 8/31/2011
Kanazawa Kings Last Seen: 9/13/2011

These two play each other in a relegation series. Both will be bots soon and if the winner of the series is a bot it will create another promotion which would go to the Fighters or if they won to aisteru.4ever.

I think Kuzu will go bot on Monday (bot dates 29/8 to the 4/9). Then sadly the Kings will last two more weeks until the end of the season so it will depend on the ordering of the processing. They may be a bot before the promotions and relegations are done, or they may not be.It will be a matter of hours but it would be good news for someone from our division.

Malice you are in the know do you know the order of end of season processing?

All very complex but I think there is a good chance that once again those in an easy division get rewarded and those in a hard one get nothing.

I have sent pretty much all of what you said there to a BB (did it a week or so ago). I asked them to take a look at the situation, and perhaps make some adjustments by human input rather than having it automated.
There are 4 teams in the JBBL well on their way to becoming bots.

I'm of the opinion that the BBs need to take a hands-on approach to the JBBL, and fix it. The imbalance across the Div IIs is depressing. For example, Terry Bogard is probably stronger than Umi Says - yet can't even make the playoffs. It's a joke.

I am not sure what the process is for the bot clean-up, but it's a complete and utter joke to have teams that rarely if ever log on to the premier competition of a nation... when there are willing and eager teams in the divisions below - but can't get in there because of the logjam of competition in one solo div. (ours)...

It is funny, I don't feel that way, but I do feel like I do want to give my best shot rather than just sitting back and being passive. Good luck on Tuesday, I still feel like you are the one team I can never beat, hopefully this time I can break the jinx.

Ha. I wish.
In the last week you've gone from having a salary perhaps $10k short of mine, to having the #1 salaried team in II.1. Now you have an extra $150k per week on my team. Sonoda... didn't worry me too much, as Li is getting better week by week. But your new guard? He's going to be VERY hard to contain...
Still, I was scrambling to get a new player just prior to the cut off, but gave that idea up once I saw your purchase. Save my money for next season. I am hopeful that more than one team gets up to JBBL from II.1, due to BB intervention. However... I don't think it's going to be me. I think that you & Fighters will go up.
Sigh... another season of Div II.1 for me.

Obviously I hope it is the Fighters and me but if it is the Fighters and you that would be fine too. I just dont want to see us kill each other have only the Fighters promote (along with Umi Said) leaving you, Otaku, Terry Bogard and me probably 4 of the top 6 teams in all of division II still flailing away one of us for at least 4 more seasons and that on the assumption that there is never a good JBBL team down here for a holiday as Sharman so cruelly did to us for reasons I'll never understand.
